Scanning documents using built-in apps is simple and available on your iPhone. So, let’s demonstrate the video till the end.
The first frequently used method is to Use the Notes app.
Launch the Notes app on your iPhone. Now, select a note or create a new note. For that, tap on the edit icon at the bottom right corner.
Some icons are visible here; tap on the camera icon. Now, you will see four options available here. Select the Scan Documents option.
Now, the scanner is open. So, hold your phone on the document that you want to scan. If the auto mode is on, your document will auto-scan and capture.
Turn the pages, and your device will auto-scan and capture the document or image. Then, tap on the save button.
If you have selected manual mode, you just need to tap the shutter button.
Then, drag the corners of your document to adjust the scan to fit the page. Then, tap on keep scan option.
Now, tap the save button to save the scanned document on your iPhone.
If you want to sign a document, tap on a document in the notes app. Then, tap the Markup icon beside the camera icon and select the Add button.
You will see there are multiple options available. Add stickers, text, signatures, and shapes to your document.
Tap on Add Signature, and you will see the signature. Tap on it to add the signature.
It is easy to manage the size of the signature box and put it wherever you want on the scanned document.
That’s it.
Now, the second helpful method is to Use the Files App.
Launch the files app on your iPhone. Now, tap on three dots at the top right corner of your iPhone screen.
It will show a dropdown with multiple options. Tap on Scan Documents.
It will align the document and scan it automatically. You don’t need to press any button here.
The document will automatically get scanned by your iPhone. Then, you can save the multi-page document. You can also see a preview of your scanned documents.
