2:00 OH HELL NAW
When you’re a prey animal and a wildlife cameraman has his lens pointed at you, you know something’s about to go down.
Can't praise enough, the camera work, the music, voice over of Attenborough, editing. Simply amzing. No words
The whole bit with the bear sneaking up, the dramatic attack and then the pause when they both went into the water; that was an incredible piece of visual storytelling.
''I don't think we appreciate enough the fact that we got out of the food chain..'' Louis CK
The fact the bear was even able to catch a seal underwater is impressive, obviously it had a pretty good chance when getting a head start that close but typically the seal is already gone once it hits the water so I applaud u big bear
Seal laying there like: "Somethings wrong , i can feel it"
Imagine how freakin' fast that seal must be the instant it gets in the water, and this bear still caught it. The most unbelievable kill I've ever seen.
The suspense when they’re submerged in the water
1:59 the seals reaction kills mee every time!!😂
Imagine just chilling on a block of ice and this massive polar bear jumps out of the water behind you. I'd shit my flippers.
An incredible display of determination to survive from both animals. Sad and beautiful at the same time.
Moral of the story: Death can come even when you're chilling.
0:31 Can we just talk about how heckin majestic this shot is?
The first 1:00 of spectacular cinematography and narration is spellbinding, like an intro to an epic about a mythical beast from the classical age in antiquity. The BBC natural history unit, and Attenborough in particular are legendary in every sense of the word.
It still completely blows my mind how they are able to get some of these shots. Incredible camera work.
Seal : im in danger i need to get into the water fast Sausage, wobbly, fatty, squishy body : ohh no you don't
Her tactics on the approach were downright awesome! Amazing how they understand wind direction and how to avoid being detected because of it. Like there's a conscious understanding of it, like 1 + 1 = 2, which I find amazing for animals like this Polar Bear and big cats.
0:38 one in a lifetime shot! Wonderful
Now I understand why my gym instructor tells me to workout and lose weight instead of laying on bed and watching Netflix
