Seeing things that other people can’t see.  Sending things that other people can’t sense. This time period happens to  everyone just once in their life. I wonder why this sort of thing seems to happen most during that particularly  sensitive time we call puberty. During the spring of her  first grade of high school, such a thing happened to Yumi at  her all girl’s school as well… Her seat was at the very front by the hall,  and there was a small window right below it. The door to the classroom w
as on the right hand  side, and she was surrounded by good friends. On this particular day, she  couldn’t get rid of the chills, despite the fact she didn’t have a cold… Suddenly Kazumi, who sat diagonally behind her,  screamed and put her head down on the desk, refusing to look back up no  matter what anyone said to her. In the end, she stayed like  that unless class was over. After she came back to her senses,  everyone asked her what was wrong… Apparently she saw a see-through girl crouching
by  Maiko’s desk, who sat diagonally in front of her, and she was staring at Maiko with  her hands on her desk the whole time. Yumi and the others decided to talk to  Maiko about the girl Kazumi had seen on the edge of her vision. When they brought it  up, tears started to well in Maiko’s eyes. And when they listened to her story,  they all started bawling as well… According to Maiko, her friend  died in a traffic accident, and today was the seventh day after her passing. And that morning, despi
te the  fact she hadn’t touched it, a letter from that friend fell out of her desk,  and she couldn’t get that out of her mind. It’s said that spirits move on to the  next world on the seventh day after death, so they used that day to visit  those they want to see again. The chills that Yumi felt…and the translucent girl  that Kazumi saw…and the letter Maiko spoke of… Strange things surrounded these girls all going  through that turbulent period known as puberty.
