heading into the first turn! - [Hill] Coming up on the
first obstacle of the course, he's got to hit the target
with the front of his car to start Supernova. (tires sque
aling) - [Wood] Pulls the handbrake. - [Female] Supernova engaged. - [Hill] All right. He's gonna have to whip
his car around this tight cluster of pylons. Each on he hits will be
a two second penalty. Can he keep it under control? (tires screeching) (car engine revs) - [Bisping] What did I just witness? (audience cheering) - [Wood] That is a Rockford turn. You put it in reverse
and you cut the wheel. Slamming the brake, putting
it in gear, and floor it. - [Spotter] Nice job, nice job. To the ri
ght! - [Hill] Great job through Supernova! - [Wood] He is so hot into that turn, - [Bisping] Come on baby! (car engine revs) (tires screeching) I am speechless, that is insane! - [Wood] Yeah, at these speeds, one mistake and he can
put his car into a wall. (tires screeching) Look at him drifting that corner! He is ripping it up! - [Hill] Fielding Shredder screeching up to our second obstacle. The Light Box. And the clock will stop here. - All right, hold on. Wait for the pattern. - [Hill] Rut, b
reak it down for us. - [Wood] Okay. Here's how it works. Two of these four boxes are
going to light up at random and Fielding is gonna have to
execute one and a half turns in each of the highlighted boxes, without hitting any of the penalty pylons. (tense music) - [Hill] There's the pattern. - [Spotter] Your two.
And they're diagonal. Go for it baby! Go. Go. Go! - [Hill] We here his spotter
set them up for success here. - [Wood] Oh! Look how close
he is to the light tube! - [Spotter] Be careful.
- [Hill] There's one spin and a half. And he's out! - [Bisping] Look at that! That is insane! - Awesome! You're killing it! Get out of there. - [Wood] You see Fielding
pulling that big handbrake. That allows him to lock up his rear tires, cut the steering wheel, and start his car into these drifts. (heartbeat) (car revs) - All right. Get me out of here! - Look at that! And he passes! - There you go! (chuckles) (audience applauds) - [Hill] Aces the first two obstacles. No penalties, as he
heads
to Walk on Water. - Hold your wheel speed. (tires screeching) - [Spotter] Watch it, right there. Watch it. - Whoa! Okay! I'm fine! I'm fine! - Or not. Just do whatever you want, whatever. - [Bisping] He's out of control! (tires screeching) - [Hill] That's his first big mistake. - [Wood] So tough to
control all that power when you are pushing it that hard. - [Spotter] Careful. - Here we go! Cooling off, baby! - [Hill] Fielding's got
to use those reflectors to find the hidden path through this 50
thousand
gallon water heft. - [Wood] That nine foot raised path is the only safe way through. But at this speed, he's risking
flooding his engine bay. - [Bisping] No traction, whatsoever. - [Spotter] All right,
don't miss the target. - [Hill] And now he's on the target zone. He's got to hit that target
with the back half of his car. (tires screeching) - [Hill] He's missed the target! That's going to cost him. - [Shredder] The car is bogging dude. Oh God. - [Hill] Listen to that. Did he flood tha
t engine? Did he push it too hard
through the Walk on Water? - [Bisping] Here we go! Second chance! (bang) (glass crashing) (audience cheers) (tires screeching) - You got it! You got it! Get out! Get out! (engine knocking) - Car is running rough! Oh God! Oh, no! (engine revving and sputtering) I've ingested too much water. Come on, baby, come on! - [Bisping] Right. What happened? - [Wood] He really shot
himself in the foot at Walk on Water. He took a risk and attacked at high speed. But look at
all that
water that went gushing into his engine bay. That is a car killer. - My car is not running right! (somber music) Dammit! - [Hill] That's going to hurt him. That could be the end of the road. - Deal with it. Deal with it! - [Hill] Fielding Shredder in deep trouble in his very first race. This is the last place you want to be having
some engine problems. (tense music) - The Leveler! The Leveler! I love this thing! - Oh my God! (suspenseful music) - [Hill] It's time for the Leveler. The si
x story monster. Forty percent incline,
straight into the sky. - Is it clearing up? Or you can't rev? - Water temps are down big time. Car is still running like s***. - [Wood] Fielding better
pray he has enough power left in that engine to get to
the top of this thing. Because the closer to the edge he goes, the faster the Leveler will
come down on the other side, saving precious time. - [Shredder] Deal with it! Come on baby, come on! - [Spotter] Go! Go! Go! (car engine revs) - [Bisping] There h
e is! - [Spotter] Stop at the light! Stop at the first light! That's far! (audience cheering) - [Hill] Whoa! Less than a
car length from the edge! - Leveler engaged. - [Hill] I know what they
call it Hyperdrive now, because I am about to hyperventilate. Can somebody get me a
brown paper bag, please? - [Bisping] I thought he was
gonna go flying right off! - [Wood] I'm sure Fielding's heart rate is sky high right now. He pushed it so close to the edge, and now you can see that
Leveler's coming dow
n fast. - [Hill] All right, the
back stretch of this course is a sprint to the finish line. (tense music) - [Spotter] Okay. Go! Go! Go! Get out of there! (car revs) - [Wood] Sounds like the water is gone. And he's back to full power! - [Hill] He's got a few
big sweep of turns and plenty of straight-a-way
to make up that lost time. - [Bisping] Come on, Fielding! - All right, now watch
the curve on the inside. Final corner. Come on through. (tense music) Or not. (chuckles) (music intensifies) (aud
ience cheering) - [Hill] What a run! Five minutes and forty five seconds. Austin, Texas is in the house! And yeah boy, go ahead and get your donuts in. You deserve it. - (laughs) Good job, buddy! Good job, very good job!
