family of a Delaware County teenager shot and killed by a Pennsylvania state trooper along I 95 last June say they are still waiting for answers and now they're filing a federal lawsuit against the trooper our Chris oconnell has the details nine months after the death of Anthony Alini Jr his parents say they still received no information no answers about the Fatal police shooting of their son so now they filed a $50 million lawsuit against against that state trooper they also want him criminally
charged what do we want Justice what do we want it now family and friends of Anthony Alini Jr Gathering outside the Pennsylvania State Police Headquarters after announcing a $50 million lawsuit against the trooper who shot and killed the 18-year-old along I95 last June you cannot fathom or understand the amount of pain and anguish and suffering and an anger that we have in this household although the state police have still not officially identified the trooper the suit claims Trooper Robert so
bec violated alin's civil rights by using excessive force the Fatal encounter happened when police responded to street racing along I 95 near Pen's Landing his parents say Alini and three friends were in his 2019 Audi strictly watching declining to comment on pending litigation State Police previously said Alini failed failed to yield then drove into Troopers before the Fatal shot was fired without any warning justification or probable cause officer sobec got out of his vehicle with his weapon d
rawn and immediately walked up to Anthony Ali's front windshield and fired one shot the suit also alleges state troopers in Philadelphia police prevented medical attention by allowing Alini to Li beding to death along 995 for more than an hour after the shooting parents of the Glen Mills teenager Who Loved hockey and cars say they want the trooper criminally charged we will not remain silent and stand on the sidelines any longer it's time to move this matter forward it's time to get accountabili
ty it's time to get Justice for this family a spokesperson for the District Attorney's office tells us it's special investigations unit is still investigating this case it is still active but even they say it is a challenged because Pennsylvania state troopers do not utilize bodyw warn cameras the state police still can't tell us the employment status of that Trooper involved

@TM-173

Nah, play in the streets and driving towards cops in a motor vehicle is considered an imminent threat and the cop had a right to defend himself. Maybe stay home, learn a hobby or do something productive?

@Devotee777

2:08 And the cop was threatening to shoot someone else? Incredible.

@wakeup8922

Why doesn’t the family protest in front of their son’s barbershop

@Lee-hd3gf

Kid drove towards cops full speed and putting others lives in danger. Fk around find out.

@dougmitchell5435

It's time to disbar the plaintiff's attorney. Admittedly, the lack of transparency is not a positive, but ...

@brownandproud1950

No answer so are they in the wrong ?

@Intuitive1

He drove right into them. He did not comply.

@LD-tm6gn

Give me a fucking break, so the cop just got out of his car and executed a kid for no reason I’m sure their son was an angel aspiring engineer etc. etc.

@TheBlackWomanosphere

Didn’t he try to run the cops over? Sounded like he was being a thug and found out quickly that was not the move…

@ohhhreallynow9056

He was taking part in a street take over. He FA and FO what happens when you drive towards officers. These parents need to be counter-sued and made to pay the city for time the officers had to go out to handle the street take over, the having to call of EMS to get his FO body, and this whole lawsuit.

@danasmith858

Somebody won the stupid prize, can't sue for that

@paulg2541

The video actually shows the kid driving towards police

@akbarshoed

Ha. Parents say, "Our son will finally not be a disappointment. Our bad parenting has finally paid off."

@stephenscafaria3389

Don't know the story. But if kid was driving towards police ,the police has every right to defend himself like me and you.

@siegleed

Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

@jeremytu6051

another case of failed parents and blame the police, "F around and find out" he found it.

@brew1234567891

He tried to get away and drove towards police. He committed suicide.

@matlew1960

I'm not jumping to conclusions with this one, I'm waiting for more evidence. I understand the parent's grief and anguish at the State police not doing their job in informing them what's going on in the case and maybe the lawsuit will make them give them their findings. Where's the PA Attorney General in all this?

@Tuscarora21

His parents said he had a heart of gold But he drove like a complete jerk
