When I’m in the car with my kids, I like to play a little game I made up called "The Gratitude Game.” We start with the youngest, and each person names three things they are grateful for. The only rule of the game is that you cannot repeat something you or someone else previously said. I’m always amazed at how many rounds we can go and how happy it makes us feel. Thankfulness never fails to bring joy.
When we were thinking about this video, I wanted to do something similar. So we asked the children to tell us things they were grateful for, and I wrote them on the signs you see in the video. I am so grateful for the creativity and thoughtfulness they put into their sweet responses! These kids were awesome, and I'm so glad they could join us for filming. Several came from out of state, and two even traveled from Canada!
I am grateful to God for the blessings and people that he pours into my life. In my profession, I have been abundantly blessed with what I call “music video miracles,” but I will never ever forget the “sunshine miracle” that happened during this shoot.
