I Built a SECRET YouTube Studio with a DIY Fake Wall

d your influence on youtube and sometimes we do techie reviews other times we do youtube studio videos kind of like this one so if you're new here consider subscribing so a while back we posted a youtube video about using a photo backdrop mount and paper as your youtube studio background and a ton of creators actually implemented it into their youtube studio setup and our lead editor kyle anderson got a new house and we are now using his loft to create videos but when we first started using it w

e were kind of limited with the walls we were able to use and he came up with the awesome idea of actually using that same idea but flushing up the paper against the wall creating a faux corner and then hiding the stairwell case that is behind it let's break down how this is actually achieved i can't know when i ain't gonna play at my own pace and i'm never late see this for like two or three now all in this faux wall comes in at around just under 150 and we'll make sure post links to everything

down in the description below so you make sure you make the right purchases if you're trying to achieve this but the first thing you're going to want to buy is this newer photo backdrop mount and this is cool because you can use this mount to mount onto your ceiling or onto your wall but in order to create a corner like what you see right now it poses the problem because there's these protruding you know mounts that come out on both ends and so if you need to go up against the wall you're gonna

need to take a trip to your local uh hardware store or like home depot or lowe's and pick up an inch and a half metal flange and the pole that can screw on it and that just comes in at around 12 bucks or 15 or so but this flange now mounted onto the wall allows the paper to be pushed up all the way against it creating that fake corner the third piece you need is the actual paper itself and what's so cool about savage photo paper yes the brand's name is savage i wish i got that llc is that they

sell not only different colors but they also sell different sizes and so what you see behind me is the 9 foot version which is the biggest one they offer and that comes in at around 60 and that's really all you need ultimately but what's so cool is you can get one that suits your needs in regards to your room or office because the paper is just 60 you can literally swap out the color as needed and we've done that a few different times we tried this with a gray but we really like how it looks wit

h the the matte black and these this photo paper is pretty thick so even if you put it over a window chances are it's going to hide it pretty well now if your mind was blown about this wall smash that like button and legit that is all you need to make this happen what's so cool is you can literally pull it up if you want that window light or maybe you're done filming or what have you and just like that the faux wall is gone but if you want to see how you can buy one piece of paper and make it al
