I Tried YouTube Shorts For 200 Days | Results

200 days ago I created a brand new channel with a goal to reach 100k subscribers and get a silver youtube play button as fast as possible. And I know that everyone tried to start a youtube channel but most of them gave up and didn’t achieve anything. So that’s why I started this experiment, to show people that it’s not luck and it’s never too late to start a youtube channel. First thing that I needed to do was obviously to pick a niche. I decided to go with football quizzes, and it was a good ch

oice, because no one was making videos in that niche and I liked football. So in the middle of the night I created 3 shorts, uploaded them, and I was lucky enough to start getting views on my shorts right away. The next morning when I woke up I saw that I had over 30 subscribers and a few thousand views on each video. I was really motivated so I just carried on with this type of videos, oh by the way, in case you’re wondering what my videos looked like, then here u go. *showing the video*. Each

day I was uploading 3 short videos, consistently, and a week later I had more than 400 subscribers. Then I noticed that my videos couldn’t get over the mark of 2k views. So I decided to slow down for a bit and analyze my videos, and then I found out that my viewers just weren’t engaging with my videos enough so I could finally go viral. And after that I decided to try a new topic, which was my best decision ever. It was (choose your football career). And you know why I started making these video

That’s it. I made them stay till the end and I literally made them engage with my video. So I started posting 3 videos per day, then 5, then I tried 10 and eventually I

started making 15 videos each single day. I wasn’t getting more than 2k views per video and I just didn’t know what to do. I had this flat line for over 2 months and I started slowly losing any motivation to make new videos, I mean it took me like 20 minutes per day to create these videos and I just didn’t want to do anything, also it was the end of the summer and school had started so I just quit… But not for a very long time, I continued publishing short videos 2 months after and I was sure t

hat YouTube would punish me for not being consistent, but, no. I kept uploading 3 videos per day and I started getting the same amount of views as I used to, but then something happened and I started getting even more views. I quickly broke the mark of 2k views and started getting 3k views, then 5k, and then I started getting 10k views on each single video. Each day I was getting more than 300 subscribers and it was crazy, because every month I was getting more than 9k subscribers. It means that

less than in the year I would get my first ever youtube play button. But it couldn’t be that easy, right? So when I almost hit 20k subscribers I stopped getting any views,my views dropped to zero and I just didn’t know what to do. Also I wasn’t really consistent so obviously I wasn’t uploading 3 videos per day anymore. But then I said to myself that my job is not done yet and I can’t just give up like that, so I started uploading 3 videos per day again, and I decided to focus on the quality of

my videos. Yes, I spent more time on my videos, but in the end my videos were better quality and of course they had more chances to go viral. Okay, so now I guess it’s the right time to show you my results that I achieved 200 days later. And here’s the analytics of my channel, as you can see for 200 days I was able to reach ? views, and the most popular video on my channel is this video, that has over ? views ? likes ? swiped away percent and ? AVD. If I will compare this analytics to any of my
