It's been 27 years still have marks on my
back. My whole back has gone black. They use to beat on my back with wooden logs. I went there on September 8, 1999, and was
caught by them. RAW contacted me.How were you attracted to
it?.They took our picture and prepared ourpapers and sent us to Delhi. What were you promised?. Monthly pension for our children if we were
caught. There were 5-6 people,one was David, Sunil, Daniel Satpal
and Raju who is still in Pakistan. I came back in 2007. They left u
s at Wagah border. We were 17 men and 3 women. Not even 5 paise was given to us . They(Indian
agencies) did not even bother to ask us for fare from Amritsar to this place. What did we get from the Government?.

This is the highest form of patriotism, I’d say. These selfless, risk taking human being deserve so much in life from the GOI & their respective state governments too. But alas! Their sacrifices and their contributions go unnoticed, uncelebrated in any form. I pray to God that these heroes get their due, atleast from him. 🙏🏻
