we want to continue on with other stories that we are following for you and uh this one a uh story out of Indianapolis uh where seven kids were wounded in an early morning uh shooting the victims were between the ages of 12 and 17 the Indianapolis metropolitan police departments and officers responded at around 11:30 last night to the intersection of South Illinois Street and West Maryland Street after they heard gunshots in the area that's what the local Fox affiliate reported officers arrived
at the scene and discovered a large group of juveniles including six with apparent gunshot wounds one victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable condition the other five victims were transported to the hospital in stable condition investigators reported that a seventh victim arrived at a hospital with an apparent gun shot wound police said that victim is listed in stable condition as well no suspects have been taken into custody in conn
ection with the shooting but investigators say uh that uh more than one weapon was used in the incident and again this shot here from New York Post saying seven kids some as young as 12 were wounded in this mass shooting at a busy Indianapolis mall uh that just happened just before midnight there in in in Indianapolis so again we'll be keeping an eye on that for everyone here on live now from Fox we

You must be 21 years old to purchase a handgun in Indianapolis and 18 years old to carry. Everyone here was 12-17, below that and not legally allowed to have a gun. So before we hear the chorus of "we need stricter gun laws!" realize NO ONE LEGALLY HAD A GUN HERE.

Growing up my parents would never let me be out at that time without them. Parents should be looked into about their ability to parent.

No arrests, but they definitely aren't warning the public about an immediate threat so these kids did this to each other and they need to be charged so they can pay the Pied Piper!
What are 12 yr olds doing out at midnight? Start holding the parents responsible & they might start keeping a closer eye on their kids.
It's not a gun problem, so don't try to spin it as a reason to try to take guns from legal citizens. This was clearly kids out at a time they should not be out this was dumbass little gangsters. The problem starts at home. Why were the parents letting them be out this late?
