(ominous hum) Girl: They appeared out of nowhere. SFX:Wooshing rises Girl: June seventh... ...two thousand and twenty-four. The day everything changed. At first, there were only a few. But then they spread. Within months, they were everywhere. No matter where I went, I saw them. Later... ...we realised they had been living amongst us. So well hidden. We tried to fight them off. But our weapons were useless. It's been six months since they took you. And I still can't stand the smell of hospitals.
But the sky is beginning to clear. I know you're up there somewhere. Are they there too?

Arguably one of the best shorts I’ve seen so far. Very open to interpretation if not an actual alien invasion but dealing with disease and loss of loved ones.

I have only commented on just a few films but this one is excellent. Great talent, well shot, edited and audio additions are fantastic but most of all, creatively written. This is the perfect mix if you’re looking to model after something in terms of quality from script to screen. Great job!
