Is HIStory Nothing But War? SHORTS Healthy Mind Body Spirit Dr. Annette Feravich

This morning I was looking up information on the textile industry in the North during our early years as a nation to better understand some of the prosperity the North experienced particularly while the South was depending primarily on slavery. What I realized was that the majority of our history books are not about prosperity -- which is interesting for a capitalistic country where dreams for everyone around the world come true. And that is what I found striking about this country. Are we simply made for war? It is not.what our forefathers intended. But as we see, the poorest of every nation, at least once, flocked to this country for a better life, only to be swept up into battles. In this episode of MyShortsAreWide, I take a closer look into our history books to critically think about -- why so much emphasis on war?

just this morning I was searching for some information on the clothing industry and the early years of this nation both for my bookless classroom which you can view on my YouTube channel Healthy Mind Body Spirit and because my husband's extended family owned a garment business in Chicago what I realized was that I learned a lot about for example the Civil War but I knew almost nothing about what was going on in the North during that time today on this episode of my shorts are wide we are going t
o explore exactly what we are learning in his story [Music] [Applause] it's Dr Annette ferovich from Healthy Mind Body Spirit and I started wondering why such an unhealthy focus on war and our educational system as of this very moment you know earlier today I am realizing what kind of education the American public has been getting are we simply the land of the soldiers what exactly is being bought and sold by countries around the world Freedom democracy and the American dream clearly not what is
being bought and sold is exactly what the majority of little boys have been doing since they've been in the sandbox making War battles with Toy Soldiers battles with sticks that are guns and bullets that are rocks slingshots and blow darts snowball fights battles for money and power and property in the game of Monopoly or playing war in cards or in between in poker it's easy to cherry pick war games but what about now that war games have elevated to video games such as Mortal Kombat ghost of sh

we went to the Orient for spices in our early days as settlers but didn't learn how to grow our own generally I began to realize that I knew very little about the prosperous North what made the north so prosperous or nearly anything about the north but I sure do know a lot about the South during the Civil War are all history books written by Confederates furthermore I started thinking about all of our his story as a nation and all of it it seems almost every word of it is about war the American
Revolution to the Civil War to civil rights movement and to war against drugs to 9 11 to covid look at the list of battles in the Civil War alone I realize that knowing how a cotton gin actually works may not seem very fruitful especially in this day and age at first glance however what do you suppose inspires a child to invent other than seeing inventions imagine a child by the side of Albert Einstein Benjamin Franklin or Nicola Tesla Elon Musk I know a little scary but if I knew how a dress w

hey would rather we believe in deities and Magic than understand actual science now I see that there is more to the picture I see we are creating Soldiers by feeding us almost one single narrative War I am beginning to fear that is the great experiment how to create soldiers out of dreamers this is Dr Annette farovich from Healthy Mind Body Spirit taking this country back from our warmongering fathers and brothers for a different story his story seems to be filled with the same unfair competitiv
