The UN Secretary General Gutierrez is the spokesperson of Hamas! He has not said a word about the expusion of 1.7 million Afghans from Pakistan in November 2023. He is so engrossed with Hamas!
Years of UN total support of Hamas did encourage Hamas to start this war. Do they (the UN) know expect a war without victims? Aren't they aware that Hamas' stratergy is precisely that (to have has many victims as possible in order to get support by the UN)?
What the *F? How is it Israeli responsibilities to care for Palestinians? They have a very rich government to do so if they care. Is the catastrophe that the UN is referring to similar to the catastrophes when Assad killed 50,000 Arabs in his own country and Arafat killed Arabs en mass? I don't recall world-wide outrage when those events occurred.

They want to see fewer civilian casualties? Hamas fighters don't wear uniforms. You often see them fighting in their street clothes. After a battle they throw their weapons away then try to walk away, all innocence. They are counted as civilians when they get to the hospitals.
It is impressive how the UN secretary makes no mention of Hamas as the culprits of this catastrophe! It is as if this war had started alone, or by Israel's unilateral initiative. He never demands that the terror!sts release the hostages: he just demands a ceasefire from the Israelis.

Possibly if the UN workers stopped smuggling and hiding arms for Hamas they could focus on aiding the civilians.
