I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Futuristic Nigeria is such a good idea. You rarely see "future" depictions, either logical or complete fiction, take place outside of more prominent countries. Or hell, outside the US, haha. Edit: Wakanda is one depiction. Prominence isn't the same thing as being common. Lol

@JongTulibasprofile

As a bisaya, I would love to see Otin in action 😅😅😅

@morvent9668

It’s pretty cool to see a futuristic Nigeria without having to worry about pushing the payload or healing Genji.

@luciaalpha1014

"This is Otin" The world: 😲😲😲 People on the third and second islands in the Phil.: 💀💀💀

@howardjessica7704

When a media company makes a movie like this, it’s means the median income in that country has risen to the point where a movie like this is viewed as profitable. Disney knows what they are doing in this case, very well. Awesome job Nigeria!❤️🇯🇲👍

"I didn't hear you laugh oo" in my dads accent got me real good😂

@TheR3ALCI

As a Nigerian, this is by far the most impressive looking Nigerian animated story I've seen so far. Good or bad, I don't care. I'm really excited. The characters talk and act exactly the way we do. Especially the villian who sounds like he wants to use someone for ritual.

@TheFPLManual

Siiiuuuu, Nigeria is now represented in a Disney+ as an animation series. Wow, big ups to the team for working hard on this project

@Shadowblade_-yi5hr

I absolutely love futuristic-set stories, and the fact that this is set in somewhere other than America or Europe for a change is honestly so exciting. We need more futuristic Africa & Asia themed stories. ❤

@drosnelochmir6346

I love Otin's adventurous nature, I hope he goes exploring caves too lol. Long live Otin....mga bisaya saba-saba sad daw mo hehehehe😂

@matthewboiser2509

As a person from the Philippines Otin is already my Favorite character.

@CartoonLyricsHausa

well-done Disney you made Nigeria and whole Africa proud💚

@user-ue7jd9ub3o

As a person from Africa I love that Disney is making a animation about Nigerian people, it's nice.💜 Thank you Disney

@isaacsteen4828

This feels like a heartfelt project that was meddled with from the top and turned into a series for maximum profit potential. Disney tends to do that

@Wolfdawg504

This is actually a big step for Disney. Instead of race swapping a pre-existing character for social credit, they're making an entirely new character/series to represent a group of people. I support this.

@mkislove2023

Nigerian - Welcome to Lagos, Nigeria!! Filipinos be like - ambot sa imo jud. Hahahaha lol

@grimmashley8422

It's so cool to see futuristic concepts used more creatively like this
