So in 2012 she is arrested for terroristic threats. She's let go. Then she tries to take the life of a customer. Are we going to let her go for a 2nd time, crossing our fingers that she will not use deadly force against the next person who happens to irritate her?

I don't get it? In my book, anyone who shoots at another intends to kill them. PERIOD. I don't see a case of Stand Your Ground, since words and food items were thrown by both parties at a distance and without personal physical injury. So why just a year of probation for attempting to murder someone with a deadly weapon??? What was the justification behind this plea deal? What would she get if she actually hit someone, 2 years of probation?? Seriously, something is not either not being reported or... there is some kind of sweetheart deal here.
