Who in 2024??
My dad and I are huge Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck fans. Recently, when he was ill and I was bringing him home from the VA in Portland, OR for cancer treatment, we were playing classic rock on the stereo in my car. When "People Get Ready" came on, he asked me if he could turn up the volume. I said, "Crank it, dad!" And, he played air guitar and I drove-danced all the way into Salem, and then we laughed and loved that time. He passed away 3 weeks ago. It's been a huge loss. But, I love that my dad and I rocked out to this song together. Happy memories forever.
When my husband was sick, he played this often on his guitar. 10 years on, I can finally listen to it, but not without tears. Blessing to Mr. Beck and Mr. Stewart. You gave him comfort.

Well, here we are, Jeff has left us,, we listen now once again to our hero been with us all the way there & back, like a flash, telling the truth, with his Boleto, with his Tele, with his life he showed us how it done a righteous way so indeed he done us right the whole way,, got us ready to see him rise to see Jimi & all the others like BB.
