blockbuster movie "Barbie." And who do I see

and that made my whole summer. That made my whole --

perspective. -Now, how did this come about? -Man, that is
a happy accident right
there. Yeah. I ran into Margot Robbie
at dinner randomly, and we’d worked on
"The Suicide Squad" together, and she’s fantastic. She came over,
gave me a big hug. She said,
"You should do 'Barbie.'" I said,
"I’m trying to do 'Barbie.'" And she was with the people making the decisions for
"Barbie." And she’s one of those folks
and turned and said, "The kid's in the picture." So I get a call the next day.
-Did you think you were going
to be Ken or...? -Well, I didn’t think
I was going to be Merman
Ken. [ Laughter ] But then I got to be Merman Ken.
-Yes! [ Cheers and applause ] -And in the process, we made
your summer! -I mean, you made my summer. And Dua Lipa,
who we love as well. -Yeah, that was a fun day. I don’t sing,
and I got to sing to her, and that was a -- that was
an audition. -A little stress, yeah.

on "Fever Pitch." I loved him so much.

out to dinner afterwards. I’m way overdressed
for a table read. And if you could,
we’ll re-enact some
thing. Come on.
