How many will join me in listening this song in 2024?

@OldMusicHits-zq2ts

A message to the future generations: Don't let this beautiful masterpiece die!

@sherrikinney6633

I’m 63 and loved this band. No one will ever be able to take Steve Perry’s place.

@slares111

We were living in a Golden Age of musical creativity and didn’t even know it.

@Edselsmellswell

Music is the closest thing we’ll get to a Time Machine ❤

@subicbay100

Greatest decade ever. No cell phones, people had to talk face to face, knew how to write, and most of all; it was real music with heart.

@jimdo5841

98 years old and still listening to this..crying myself to sleep with happy tears..so glad I got to live through those years..

@user-yg4gq8df3l

Steve’s voice has always been able to bring me back to center. At 68 I’m proud to be from that era, he will always be The Voice❤

@marshallsamuels4033

I was 19 years old and I'm 65 now and I have never stopped listening to Journey one of the most awesome bands

@melodyszadkowski5256

Every time I play this, I feel my husband still beside me, singing in my ear. The pain of loss and the joy of memory fight it out in my mind. Thank you, Journey, for this gift to my life.

@phillipyates728

Every time I watch this clip I get tears in my eyes , there will never be another Steve Perry, a true gift to the music world , this band should have been still here today as a testimony and a witness of what is all about , music that touches the soul and encourages everyone to strive for excellence God bless you Journey you impacted my life , I will carry that through eternity

@Intellectcowboy

This is TRUE music. Real talent, real lyrics, real singing, none of that auto tune bs.

Back in 1984, I was supposed to sing this song at my wedding. That never happened. I lost her 2 weeks before the wedding. All these years, and I still can't hear this song without tearing up, nor can I forget one single word, beat or note of it. I'm 60 now, and I never did marry, I guess I just couldn't get past it. -- Update. I would like to thank everyone here for your well wishes and heartfelt sympathies. I did receive some news from my doctors, it seems as though I'm not long for this world, as my health has taken a drastic turn downward, but I do believe that my girl of long ago, Danielle, will be there waiting for me. Update: 1/25/24, This is George's brother Craig, and he wanted me to post an update. George passed on 1/19/24, with myself and his nieces and nephews with him. One thing he did insist on was to have this song playing on his last day. I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful responses here, they brightened his last days.

I could never understand why Faithfully wasn’t as mega of a hit as Open Arms. It’s a power ballad of power ballads and stunningly beautifully written and played. And SP’s vocals on this are simply unbelievable!! Raw, gritty, every note saturated with masculine emotion and intensity. It demonstrates the sheer power of SP’s voice - his range, tone, passion, breath control, phrasing is like no other song on Journey’s records. His chest voice is killer in this - even in those crazy high notes! That uniquely special way Steve Perry delivers a song and makes you feel it in your bones along with him… it’s all here. The message of this song is so good too. Love love, Faithfully.

@brunomiceli

"...Two strangers learn to fall in love again I get the joy of rediscovering you" I always feel emotional when this part comes... It's like my mind creates a dream scene when I get a chance to restart everything with the one I love, but unfortunately it's not possible in reality. This song is a masterpiece!

@kevinogles4770

May be the best music video of all time! God bless the good of everyone that has a deep desire of greatness within them!

@joannebois343

Saw these guys in concert and Brian Adams was their opening act. I was 20, that was 42 years ago. My how time flies. These songs take me back. This is real music.

@dianeshipley8774

This song really hits home. I am married to a professional guitar. We've been together 47 years. In the beginning, my husband did a LOT of traveling with bands. I hated it. We had many ups and downs. He did things that hurt me but was always faithful. We got through it. Married 35 years, together 47. Still going strong. ❤

@hyeangels8413

How is it possible to listen to the same songs for 4-5 decades and never get bored? BECAUSE..... THESE ARE MASTERPIECES!!

@keonlund7760

Anyone else just cry when they hear this song?
