to use a Bunsen burner you must be sure to turn on the gas first and after you turn on the gas you're going to be able to hear it if you cannot hear it turn off the gas and try to figure out why it's not coming out from there what we do is we're going to light a match or a lighter in light the gas coming out of the burner if it does not light within five seconds turn it off figure out what's going on and then try again you do not want an excess of gas in this area we control how strong the flam
e is with this event letting more oxygen or less oxygen in creating more of a powerful flame you want to keep us you want to keep a distance between what you're heating and the Bunsen burner as you will not have that very top of the flame there if you have it read the bottom face remember be sure whenever you're using a crucible or beaker on the burner use tongs to pick it up as it will be very hot if it did not look hot do not use your hands to touch when you are done with your crucible or beak

hemical is are the beakers having countless eyes do not dump it down the drain unless instructed by a teacher as those chemicals may mix in our drainage system and who knows what they've done usually instead you'll wanna dispose of the chemicals in designated beakers that are signed by a teacher they will commonly have labels that indicate what chemical is present in the beaker seeing that which one is for which chemical if you break any glass where they're cleaning or throughout the lab make su

still be touching your skin you'll be pulling this triangle and it will shower you with lots of water and trust me it's gonna help you and possibly even save whatever part of you got hit with that chemical you don't have to worry about your dignity because no one else will be in the room when you have no clothes on and overall it's just it should be a last resort just try to avoid any kind of chemical spills but this is still here if it does happen I know we can do it we really don't have to kno
