Lakeville South band plays at St. Patrick's Parade in Ireland

The Lakeville South High School marching band is used to playing for thousands of people in performances around the Twin Cities. But this weekend, the band had an audience of hundreds of thousands of people in Ireland for St. Patrick’s Day. y Parade it was mindblowing how many people there were like there's people hanging out of Windows there's thousands of people on the street everyone's putting their hands over the gates to high five us it's it's just insane senior's Brook Taylor the environment is just mindblowing it's great and thata King there's so much noise everywhere everyone everywhere you looked you could see just the green of the Irish it was amazing spoke for the group of 100 musicians from the South Metro 5 hours ahead
of us here in the Twin Cities they're making the most out of every minute every day living off the adrenaline of standstill performances and parades across the country amount of people was just bewildering I mean everywhere you would look as you marching there is people they've juggled the performances with opportunities to be regular tourist everywhere they go They're encountering masses of people from all over the world all in Ireland this week to celebrate St Patrick's Day together it's an e
xperience that you just cannot experience through a phone screen like before this trip we were looking through pictures videos of what the environment here is like and it's really just unbelievable when you get here the band is set to leave Ireland on Friday and they actually don't go on spring break until after they return here to Minnesota so they did miss some class for this trip that meant they had to do a lot of planning with their teachers taking some tests in advance even doing a little h
omework on the plane ride overseas to make sure they could stay caught up in the classroom in The Newsroom bab Santos fox9
