You’ll be missed Mike

@i.m.takkinen

Tremendous play caller. Him and Tommy were an unbeatable pair.

@neilouellette3004

Mike Gorman is King here in Boston. Just like Johnny Most "radio" was 1953-1990.

@TRJ2241987

There will never be another Mike and Tommy

@joesakic91

@jayking901

Give him a ring too when we win this year☘️

@katec8796

Mike is as big a part of the Boston Celtics as the coaches and players- that voice man - always sounded like home. What a career - he deserves all the accolades and more.

@user-ct8cw1cx3p

GOAT NBA play by play man since Chick Hearn. Love ya Mike.

@davidparon3343

Legendary Duo!!! Mike and Tommy!!

@krzy6886

He takes it... Makes it!!

@shipwreckedpoet3

Going to miss Mike. Especially his approach and style. The Less is More is a dying art. All that remain are the bombastic screamers. Mike is Class act. Hopefully Celts can win won more for him before he retires.

@ajstimac2489

As a Pistons fan born & raised in Detroit, I only have nothing but respect for Mr. Gorman. His voice is legendary and it brought me so many memories (both good & bad lol!) throughout my life. All the best in your retirement, sir!

@LimaJayaSRC

Gonna miss those voice and personality 💚

@elartefafamusic6287

Mike and Tommy reason I become a celtics fan ☘️☘️☘️

@mc76

I have been an out-of-state Celtics fan for over 60 years. Until the advent of League Pass via the internet, I never had the pleasure of watching/listening to Mike call games. The past few years have been great, but I wish I could have watched some of those games in the 1980s.

@charliehustle5827

As a ten year old in Boston in the early '80s, I started watching Celtics games. I had an uncle named Mike Gorman and was surprised to see another Mike Gorman on the TV. In my 50s now and this guy is still going. He has been a steady, entertaining, and consummate professional for his entire run. He will be missed. Gotta hear his story about his first lunch with Heinsohn who sold him an insurance policy!

@nights2747

Some of the most hype moments of my childhood. "Pierce for the game... GOT IT."
