[Applause] once again time for race fans to start their engines as Race season returns to local tracks around Pennsylvania yeah Fox 43's Alex collie shines the sports Spotlight on Lincoln Speedway where being the first to give drivers the green light has become a [Music] tradition while it might seem quiet right now race fans can hear it coming for the 30th year Lincoln Speedways Icebreaker will welcome the racing season back to central Pennsylvania it's the first time for people to get out and

do something after being locked down all winter and they want to get out and smell the fumes and see the cars and hear the noise with races on the schedule for Saturday and Sunday the drivers know that the fans can bring some noise of their own when they show up it it definitely uh makes me stay in my merchandise trailer a little bit longer just catching up with with a lot of the good fans you know it's just uh great to see everybody back at the at the dirt track again with it being the 30th Ann

iversary it's not lost on the track that the kids at the first one are now bringing their kids to the race the future of this sport is with the young people you know what I mean so we really need to keep them excited about this also and they've came here with their parents it's a tradition and people look really look forward to it I mean it just you can't explain it you almost have to come and experience it Dietrich shifts the family connection at the track to a whole other gear as he and his fa

ther are one of the few fatherson Racers to vot both wi openers at Lincoln Speedway weekend yeah we we grew up here my dad my brother and I the whole family and uh just coming here you know for for so many years of my life and there's a lot of great tracks that that mean a lot to us but uh definitely Lincoln Speedways uh one of the the favorites of across the top of the board here for me there's even a new virtual flag system at the track this year we're going to have more on that next week but
