I can't believe it's taken this long for a documentary about Donna Summer. She is such a Legend.

@tonyajawwaad7933

I say Kelly Rowland can play this part because she can go from young Donna to the height of her existence! I NEED THIS! And it would be an Oscar for Kelly! I truly feel this!! In my soul!!

@rabit818

Donna singing, “She works hard for the money”, impromptu, AMAZING.

@ocker2000

She deserves to be recognized for her talent and personality. I have not heard a voice like hers ever again. A unique strong woman's voice. Can't wait to see this docu.

There’ll never be another like Donna. She was a gifted songwriter, a beautiful woman and a truly fabulous singer with a distinctive and powerful voice. Of course she was a complicated person; who isn’t? And imagine trying to navigate that fame. When all is said and done Donna was simply the best and she’s truly missed. She made my life growing up a better experience and she touched millions with her talent xx

Whitney Houston died in February, 2012.....Donna Summer died in May, 2012. The shock upon hearing the news of both was beyond disbelief. As a pre-1980 Gen-Xer, I cannot wait for this documentary.

Looks enticing. Can't wait!!! She deserves this and so much more!!! Donna Summer was so underrated and under appreciated. A One Of A Kind Voice from the heavens. Beauty and talent to match. Just like I watched her live concert on HBO back in the 80's at least a thousand times, I'll probably do the same for this documentary!! Thank you Brooklyn, Roger and HBO!!! Your mom was a LEGEND!!!

Died too soon. Forever missed. Such a diva. A true legend.

@christya2488

I always described Donna Summers' voice as though it came directly from heaven. She could hit these absolutely amazing, powerful notes with absolutely no strain on her face whatsoever. Other singers would have veins popping out of their neck and distorted expressions on their face just to produce vocals that were not nearly as powerful or perfect as Donna's. It was as though she opened her mouth, and this powerful magic just flowed from her vocal cords. She truly, truly was one of a kind.
