Lynnwood thrift store Bella's Voice endures 3 break-ins within 10 days

It's so much more than a thrift store: all of their proceeds go directly to helping your pets when they get sick or injured. But a founder of Bella's Voice in Lynnwood says they are sick and tired of cleaning up the damage, after being broken into three times in the past 10 days. In the first break-in, electronics were stolen and the glass door at the back of the shop was shattered. "And then the second one, they actually removed the board," said co-founder Camille Ovena. "From here, they used a crowbar and removed the board. And then we got more wood made it more sturdy, so it wouldn't happen again." But it did happen again. it's just like an emergency situation when pets get sick or injured not every owner has the means to cover the cost of care their dog is sick their cat is sick they're guinea pig so they turn to Bella's voice this lady where her dog had to have a massive $4,700 surgery and she couldn't afford it and they covered all of it where all the money made here we have toys board games bags goes to animals well we offer just about everything but this co-founder of the store and they actually damaged the d

ss door the odd thing is police were able to arrest the two suspects in the second break-in they said they're still sitting in jail right now so she suspects the first and third burglaries were possibly by the same people seemed similar they both broke the glass crawled through grabbed the electronics up here laptops tablets stuff like that but they were all donations so that it hurt a little more today we spent $500 on the on the laptop for it to be stolen in their Lynwood neighborhoods Nish Co
unty crime data shows there have been 25 commercial burglaries so far this year which is on Pace with the same time frame last year but that doesn't take away from the strain this puts it's not fair for us it's not fair for the animals on a worthy Mission they make a huge impact on everyone Maddie white KING5 news
