M3GAN is a marvel of artificial intelligence, a life-like doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally. Designed by brilliant toy-company roboticist Gemma (Get Out’s Allison Williams), M3GAN can listen and watch and learn as she becomes friend and teacher, playmate and protector, for the child she is bonded to.
When Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece, Cady (Violet McGraw, The Haunting of Hill House), Gemma’s unsure and unprepared to be a parent. Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
Produced by Jason Blum and James Wan, M3GAN is directed by award-winning filmmaker Gerard Johnstone (Housebound), from a screenplay by Akela Cooper (Malignant, The Nun 2) based on a story by Akela Cooper and James Wan.
The film also stars Ronny Chieng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Brian Jordan Alvarez (Will & Grace), Jen Van Epps (Cowboy Bebop), Lori Dungey (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, extended edition) and Stephane Garneau-Monten (Straight Forward).

This movie portrays the negligence of irl parents leaving their kids to the devices for support and the consequences of it. The message it is displaying is amazing. This was a great horror thriller movie. I'd definitely watch it again. 👍

I love how Megan’s voice is more robot at the beginning but gets more human at the end
went to see it last night thinking Id be unable to sleep but the audience in the cinema last night genuinely laughed around 20 times ; the bit when Megan sang titanium brought the house down and by the dance, the family sat infront of me were choking on their popcorn. Im lost for words

I think a lot of us walked out unsure if we watched a comedy or thriller, but we all seem to agree it’s a hit.
It’s honestly worrying how AI technology at this level isn’t that far away, it’s only a matter of a few decades or even a few years for a robot with this intelligence to become a regular part of modern civilization
The way she says in the trailer's end (ever again) tells the biggest leap of the humanity towards robot and robots connecting to biological emotions give goosebumps
The way this movie made me want to see it more and more is that it is by far something that came close to surpassing Chucky in murder doll genres. The M3GAN doll is such a murderous little thug. One of the best movies I have seen so far recently.

I love the use of a Taylor Swift song for a horror movie trailer!!! It compliments the vibe in such a fun and unexpected way
I think Cady was a disturbed child, judging by the brief interaction between her parents, and because of the subsequent loss of them. M3gan replicated Cady's trauma both emotionally and then physically. Although similar to a Chucky movie, the dance made it by far the coolest!
This trailer alone made me cry , i never felt this kind of horror from any sci-fi movie.
This movie seems to have picked a really great actress for all these little physical movements, and how they incorporate them with the overall aesthetic just makes you really mesmerized and creeped out at the same time.
This movie show real life horror that will be come in our future.
