[Heather] - So whose birthday is it? - It's Mango's birthday.
Mango's my crested gecko. [Heather] - That's cool. How old is she turning? I got her about a year from now,
and it was around March 11th. [Heather] - Cool! All right, everyone, this is Bert. If we all want to say "hi, Bert." [all kids] - Hi Bert! So Bert here is a blue tongue skink. Does anyone have any guesses why he
would have a really really smooth body? - They live... don't they
burrow underground and stuff? - Exactly! So they
'll use that really smooth
body to burrow under the ground faster to get away from things. Cool! Then we'll go ahead
and we could put Bert away if we all want to say bye to Bert. [all kids] - Bye, Bert! So this here is Jake from Snake Farm. Jake here is a full-grown female ball python. [Parent] - Look at me. Cheese! - You're cool. [other parent] - Breathe! [child] - I want a new necklace. - New necklace? All right. Stand up. [all laugh] - I want that picture. Oh my goodness, Auggie! All right,
so this is a
Madagascar hissing cockroach. The name gives it all away. Comes from Madagascar. It, in fact, does make a hissing sound,
and it is a really large roach. So, these guys... this is a male. You can tell by the horns here on the head. The females will not have those horns. [child] - What if Ellie does it? Will you do it? [parent] - All right, Auggie, you gotta look at me. Don't drop it.
[child] - It kinda tickles. [Kyle] - It does. It does have a tickle. They're actually really clea
n.
Now whenever they're in numbers, you could develop an allergic reaction
through years of being around that, but they're actually fairly clean. So pretty! All right, this here is Aladdin.
He is a zero bearded dragon. He is active today. We're
gonna be active, aren't we? All right, cool. So if you guys want
to hold or pet, we can do that. - All right, your turn. [all giggle] [Heather] - Hey, you did it though! [child] - Good job! Hi! Hello! I know. It's a rough life, isn't it? Oh yeah, it
is. [this] is a yellow Saharan uromastyx. [Child] - I love these things! [Kyle] - Almost looks like a Pokémon
with its awesome tail. [excited chatter] [Kyle] - All right, everyone, this is the
star of the show here: Hercules. Some pretty big snakes although
they did just recently discover an anaconda that's as long as...
[child] - Yeah, it's the Northern green anaconda. [Kyle] - Yeah! Yeah, so the list... the
list is kind of varying now. Things are changing. I do like... he does look like eg
g yolk. [Kyle] - Yeah. [Connie] - That's a new one. Egg yolks is a new one. [Kyle] - Yeah, that's a new one. [Heather] - Did you guys all have fun? [all] - Yeah!
[child] - Yes, I did. [Heather] - Awesome! So what was your favorite animal you saw today? - Mystic! [Heather] - Mystic? - Yeah.
[Heather] - Awesome. - The spiky one that we cold hold.
The bearded dragon! - Jake from Snake Farm. [Heather] - Jake from Snake Farm?
- Bearded dragon! - Hercules was pretty cool. - You liked Hercules, didn't
ya? - I like the tortoises that I saw in the corner. [Heather] - Oh, the tortoises? Yeah? I like the Pokemon lizard. [Heather] - The Pokemon lizard?
The Pokemon lizard was Daisy the uromastyx. - Uromastyx. I gotta write that down. [Heather] - All right, let's see if Mango
wants her birthday treat. Oh? Yes? Yes. Oh, is that good?
