hola hola hola hola hola I can't see anything with
these glasses I know they messed up my glasses my prescription I have two pair now again I can't
I can't see anything so I'll try my best but we're bringing you another video we're going down
that Mariah Carey Rabbit Hole yes Love Mariah I could listen to Mariah all we could do her entire
every album every song I think that'd be crazy yeah I mean I I kind of fell off when um after
the emancipation of Mimi maybe we have to pick it up you hav
e to figure out what what happens
yeah emancipated you're right maybe I should was she emancipated was she emancipated yeah
she was freed all right well let's let's keep emancipating her are you ready do it this one
is emotions this is the MTV Unplugged remember that oh I love them what happened to MTV I
don't know but this whole Seer they did so many artists and they were great they had a
lot like I remember when Jodeci was on that man even like uh Spanish artist Hispanic
artists you know
that Mana one oh man MTV became some weird unreal thing it's all about
like catfishing all right here we go emotion all right let's check it out oh by the way I did
look up something she was born in 1906 Mariah hot on fire born in 1969. this song came out in
1991 22 years she's a little baby old yeah 22. he was a child hi return s here you are on my mind all right hold on that high note okay yeah so her
mom was an opera singer I didn't know that yeah so that's where she gets it from
so in
91 I was 17 she was 22. I felt like she was a lot older than I was
I still felt like a kid at 20 at 17. yeah but she was just a kid I look back at a 48 she
was just a kid back then oh my God just having a blast up there and for the audience you know
like because she was the star you don't get to do the unplugged thing if you're not somebody so I
I know I should have looked this up I know listen it's a reaction Channel I don't look everything up
and then script this her first one was Vision
of Love the album yeah her second album was emotions
right I believe so I think so all right we'll look this up later but you know what the point
of a reaction she knows you're just getting just kidding and we're talking figure it out here
we go let's keep playing as Cynthia looks it up feels like I'm having fun you here we go please loving that screen you break glass Goosebumps I don't know when I hear not only
her but wouldn't I get I feel emotions like you feel the most yes I oh my God li
ke definitely a lot like I start crying I mean this
is at the end I touched yeah no no but like the ears I could feel like you hear sockets right like
that's it's Joy it's happy yeah no I'm not sad push it down as a dude but you don't cry but
as I'm as I'm listening at the very end when she realized I felt it if we're all being
honest even men feel this way it's not like I'm gonna cry about it but um when she hit the
high note at the end and she's like yeah like she she went out of the high
note into yeah it's
like she knew she hit it she's like I did it you know I was proud of her so I was like yeah you
know you feel like I'm watching my daughter you know do a dance routine yeah yeah I it was good
man that was good I we've been asked to do live performances more so what the hell we did this
one yeah so her first album was Mariah Carey and that's where Vision of Love was along with
some then this was emotions was her second album um so in this MTV Unplugged she has vision of
love
you know a mix and then she also is doing some um when you call that when you are doing you know
like you're singing somebody else's song oh covers she's she's covering well she she actually did
one and I wanna I wanna do it yeah that was the Michael Jackson one no that one's good yeah
that's a good one but the one I'm thinking of is the Brenda K star one which one well I guess
we'll have to just bring it it's the next one we do you know that's it that'll be the next one
we do it's th
e unplugged part of the unplug it's a live version of it yeah but okay just to
end this one man I really I really like I'm you know what I wonder because I don't know you know
I'm not here going let me review this and then I'm gonna report back to people and all of you
are like Mariah fancy you know more than me you got this you know degenerate over here just
trying to figure out what the generous yeah you know what I mean trying to figure out trying
to figure out what's going on here I'm w
ondering if she was ripped off in this in the first two
albums you know how artists are the first time they put out they get nothing in the recording
well wasn't I don't know yeah so I don't think she because she married him right away I don't
think that she would I think he'd definitely I mean who knows maybe he did rip her off I hope
she approached him I hope she got I hate artists that don't get paid like I hate that artists
don't get paid I know on those first albums that happened a lot
in that time so hopefully
that did not happen to her anyway oh yeah the piano player is going to go back and look he
looked like Arsenio Hall he did you said that I'm like oh my God yeah he did look like that
yeah all right well there you go let's move on to another Mariah I want to do the Brenda K star
one because she was Mariah was a backup singer to Brenda K star yeah and then she ended up doing the
song and it's one of those like freestylers what song is it I can't remember the name I'
ll find it
it's I I you'll see it next time around later bye
Comments
She WROTE every song and produces her own records she ever recorded except her covers !!!!! So she was paid pretty good ‼️‼️‼️
you will love Mariah and Whitney's duet 'When you believe', it won an oscar for the soundtrack of Prince of Egypt.
Well actually yes her mom was an opera singer, but most opera singers cant go as high as mariah, in fact almost none can, she has said that even her mom was surprised by mariah when she was little cuz of how high she could go. Theres a couple of videos called mariah carey vs opera singers and it basically shows some of the best opera singers who could go the highest up against mariah, yall could check it out, i also recommend Vision of love live at Apollo Theater 1990 and Vision of love live at Tokyo Dome 1996, these are 2 of the best versions of the song and better than the studio version, i HIGHLY recommend yall check both out because theyre very different from eachother since she changed her singing style very often and changed some adlibs and entire parts of the song, yall should really check both live performances of that song out, incredible vocalist.❤
RIP David Cole (the father of Emotions). Love that look y’all gave each other @ the beginning, like “Let’s get it”. The genius GOD gave those 2 should be bottled♥️
This was filmed in Astoria, Queens NY around April of 1992 at Silver Cup Studio (if not mistaken) Btw Mariah was born March 27, 1970 😉🥳. Been enjoying these reaction 🙂.
Yes yes ! She is this king of wow singers to study 📖 📚
Actually she was born late March 1970 so she is about to turn 53. Patti LaBelle is her godmother. Patti used to to have a picture of the 2 of them in her kitchen 😊
I remember this and how she came about performing Unplugged because a lot in the industry were saying that Mariah is all manufactured and studio work, she can't sing her songs live. Well the rest is history after unplugged came out!
Thanks for reacting to performances of the Songbird Supreme, Mariah❤️ Hoping you reacted more of her. - Fly Like A Bird live at the Grammys 2006 - Never Too Far/Hero Medley live 2002 - Forever live at Madison Square Garden 1996 - Star Spangled Banner live at NBA Finals 2002
The unplugged sessions were in 1992, so she was probably already 23.
Nobody really knows her year of birth . Even in official profiles they put both 69 and 70. "All hail and bow to Mariah Carey, The Queen of Divas, Protector of the vocal skills from the realm, Archiduchess of Vocal range/registers, Empress of agility, The unmatched, The Mellisma mother, The Goddess of Songwriting and producing, The one often imitated, but never duplicated, The embodiment of pure success",. My simpleton ears are not worthy of your talent but a simple sung phrase will be enough to heal me for all eternity.
Amazing reaction! Can you guys please react to “Anytime you need a friend” live at Tokyo dome 🙏
She was actually born in 1970. But she dos not acknowledge time.
She talk a lot about contracts she signed in her book. She was adamant that she be the primary writer on all her music and that she wouldn’t have to sing other people’s material (and aside from covers she hardly did over the span of 15 albums). She did get into how her original producer Ben Margulies, with whom she created her demo tape, was able to make some profit off of all the albums she made with Columbia in the 90s even though he only contributed to the debut album. I don’t think she was ever screwed per se, but with the money she generated for Sony in the 90s it’s hard to say
Luv your reaction... Great Job
I recommend Mariah Carey “100%” a song she did for the 2010 Olympics. It’s very good and inspiring.
Legend ❤
Great Reaction ! Please react to her music video : breakdown
