Maximall Pompeii, Napoli, Italia - ULMA Construction [it]

The synergy created between ULMA's technical, logistics, and site assistance departments, including the team responsible for carrying out the project, and on-time equipment delivery, optimized time and costs during the execution. Every ULMA solution used in this project was studied and designed for specific architectural requirements of the project, where ULMA supplied more than 12,000 m² of formwork for slabs with the CC-4 system, more than 9,000 6-metre props, and the LGW system, for the exposed faces. https://www.ulmaconstruction.com/en

My name is Luigi Provenza, Project Manager and Technical Director of Maximall Pompeii. The Maximall Pompeii complex aims to be a reference point for trade, tourism, and entertainment within and outside the Region of Campania. The project is located in the municipality of Torre Annunziata, a short distance away from the archaeological excavations of Pompei. It is a 170 million euro project that will extend across 200,000 m² with 200,000 m² of building development. The project details are as follo
ws: a shopping centre that extends across 100,000 m², two-thirds of which dedicated to commercial space and one-third to a multi-purpose green roof that will host various attractions: an auditorium for visitors and other users, a 6-screen multiplex cinema with an IMAX theatre and a multimedia entertainment space on the first floor, and a hotel with over 130 rooms that will be directly connected to the shopping centre. In addition, the complex includes two multi-storey car parks extending across
approximately 100,000 m² with space for over 5,000 cars, as well as an equipped, an entirely public urban park that extends across 6 hectares. It also comprises public car parks for over 1,000 cars and 40 buses. Two motorway exits have also been built on the Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway —one northbound and one southbound— to facilitate incoming and outgoing traffic. My name is Tommaso Manno, CEO of MA.BE.2 Costruzioni. We are executing the structural works of the Pompeii shopping centre. One
of the largest shopping centres in Europe. This is a highly complex project. ULMA supplied about 12,000 m² of formwork and 9,000 6-metre props on this construction site. This allowed us to deliver approximately 10,000 m² of finished floors per month. My name is Francesco Manno, I am the Technical Director of MA.BE.2 Costruzioni and am in charge of production. We are building the Maximall shopping centre in Pompei on behalf of Irgen Construction. Needless to say, ULMA is providing us with all th
e equipment we need for the construction site, guaranteeing total safety. We are using ULMA’s CC-4 system for the slabs. We are currently using around 12,000 m² on site and production is on schedule with the defined timelines. Synergy has been established between MA.BE. and ULMA's technical offices. Since this project required different construction heights, which meant that not all decks have the same height, we often had to order a change of material. We send out the request and ULMA delivers
the material to the construction site on time. We chose ULMA to supply the CC-4 system because it guaranteed the delivery of 12,000 m² of formwork on time. We are definitely happy with our choice. In some areas, due to the great height, to reach the second floor, the T-60 towers have been used, reaching a height of approximately 11.50 m, covering the entire exterior perimeter. The LGW system has been used for the walls of the car park. ULMA's logistical and technical support has been excellent,
responding to all the requirements that have arisen on site. ULMA met the needs of the construction site on time, including the delivery times for shoring and formwork. Almost 90% of the material sent to us was has been brand new, It was appreciated by all parties and ultimately benefited all of us.
