The Royal Rogue

Hello and welcome back, my Royal Roguies! my  name is Jesús Enrique Rosas, I'm the Royal Rogue, and tonight I want to make a statement  about April's Fools. For those of you my Roguies who might not be aware, it's just  a day that people pick to play pranks, and... perhaps the worst kind of pranks, in  my opinion, are the ones related to news. Such as this one from GB news: "Princess  Kate and Prince William 'asked Prince Harry and Meghan to visit' with Archie and  Lilibet". Which... if you thin
k about it, a joke should, at the very least, be  funny. And I don't find this funny, by any means. I mean... the punchline is nowhere  to be found, pretty much like... the kids. But even more disturbing is that, when you click  on the link and read the piece... the tradition is that... at some point of the writing, you  must make it clear that this is just a joke. That no such invitation exists. And that is  the thing. There is no disclaimer anywhere in the text. So we are left with just two op
tions:  either this is the worst April Fool's joke ever, or someone really thought that this could pass  as news today. I don't know what is worse. But at least we have actual jokes, taken  directly from real life. Like this picture, which I didn't know existed, of Meghan, Harry,  Doria, Jessica Mulroney and Markus Anderson. This is from October. 2017 at the closing  ceremony of the Invictus Games in Toronto. I'm sure it's not hard to spot that Harry  already had 'the vibe'. Could he be having r
egrets? Because I remember that this was  the first event they were seen together, officially, if my memory is correct.  Was this some kind of premonition? Or maybe Harry has always been  like that. Eating his fingernails, because he was nervous sitting  next to such a beautiful woman. But who can blame Harry, if there is so much  footage of Meghan out there acting... strange? This was from South Africa. You see that she's  wearing the 'nobody has asked if I'm OK' dress. And I think this was nea
r the end of this event,  but two things were happening: first, I think Harry had eaten one too many tacos and he was a  bit anxious to... well, face the consequences of eating one too many tacos. He doesn't even react  when Meghan tries to establish eye contact with him. But as for Meghan... I mean, you must know  that I always try to cut her some slack. A lot of people think and claim and even call me out  on twitter that I have something against meghan, and that's not true. But this time I tr
ied to be  fair, but I can't help but think that she looks like an android trying to make an educated guess  about how humans behave in public settings. It's a bit hard to define in terms of body language,  but the two most obvious are the rapid blinking, the suddenly tense neck and the tension every now  and then of her jaw. Harry, even if you see Harry tense, he's still had a somewhat relaxed neck.  But Meghan seemed like she was bored and wanted to storm out as soon as possible. Well, one has
to  remember that nobody had asked her if she was OK, so that might be the reason she was behaving like  that. Even wearing her favorite color: Beige. But if there is one thing that Harry and Meghan  are famous for, is hard work. But not any kind of hard work, but especifically, brand destroying  hard work. Because that's the only way they have been worthy of headlines such as this: "Meghan  Markle and Prince Harry: from royal highnesses to Holluwood's punchline". Because there are already  eno
ugh instances of jokes, and NOT April Fool's jokes, at the experse of the infamous ex-royal  duo, from Saturday Night Live, to South Park, to Family Guy and who knows in the future. That's  something that will be hard to recover from. And even if they behaved perfectly, even if  they did no more shenanigans starting today, which I highly doubt, we would still have  gems like this, unearthed by Emerald Tiara: "The creators of the show Fringe called  Meghan a TOOL. Yes, a TOOL that they could use
as they saw fit". And these are the kind  of obscure references from the Meghanpedia that are hard to keep track of. I didn't know  that she played an FBI agent named Amy Jessup. And... for the life of me, I'm sure that Meghan  did her best but I simply can't see her like a Clarice Starling type. The actual 'tool' quote  is a bit small, but it says: "In an interview with Entertaiment Weekly in 2009, executive  producer Jeff Pinkner talked about Jessup's sudden disappearance, saying: 'there's no
end  date. She's an available tool in our toolbox, and we'll use her as we see fit... but we are really  trying to tell stories about our main characters". What happens in this kind of shows,  or... we sholud say any kind of show, is that the writers are always juggling with  new characters, and sometimes, some of those characters stick more than others. The audience  likes their chemistry with the rest of the cast, and they are chosen to stay a little longer.  Sometimes they even get their own
series, In my opinion, one of the best examples  is how Bob Odenkirk went from secondariy character in Breaking Bad to having his  own, really good series Better Call Saul. But... this was not the case. But that's  OK! sometimes it doesn't work out. Pretty much like Andy Cohen's more or  less 'apology' to Princess Catherine, for 'fueling wild conspiracies about her health,  branding himself a 'numpty' in groveling mea culpa in the wake of her cancer diagnosis:  "I wish I'd kept my mouth shut". A
gain, besides claiming that he's 'heartbroken'  by the news about Princess Kate... there is not an actual apology, in the sense  of saying 'i'm sorry'. Because he tweeted at that time that "It wasn't Kate", the  one seen at the Windsor Farmers Market. But not everyone was out for a piece of the clicks  cake, if we could call it that way. Because people such as James Woods, who definitely can  be quite controversial on his Twitter, or X account, made sure to say some words of  common sense for Ca
therine. "I've witnessed in utter disgust several individuals in  my business mocking the illness suffered currently by The Princess Of Wales. If you've  ever heard the words, "yes, it's cancer", then you will have compassion for her and contempt for  them. When you're fighting this dreadful disease, you're neither 'royalty' nor a 'commoner'.  You're a human being fighting and praying to be with your beloved family just one more  day. Hashtag, Catherine Princess Of Wales. And hands down, one of
the best  pictures, not only from Easter Sunday, but of this year is this of King Charles  at Windsor, when the members of the royal family attended the Easter service at Saint  George's chapel. It speaks for itself!, the King looks really good, with a solid handshake  and eye contact. And even if I understand that this was against the doctor's orders...  but he decided to shake hands either way. But Roguies! I would love to know what do  you think about this in the comments. My name is Jesús En
rique Rosas, I'm the Royal  Rogue, and remember: much love, and bliss.
