Michigan politician Matt Maddock caused quite the stir online Wednesday when he posted a tweet with pictures of buses and a plane at the Detroit Airport. The tweet said, “Happening right now. Three busses just loaded up with illegal invaders at Detroit Metro. Anyone have any idea where they’re headed with their police escort?”
However, a spokesperson from the Detroit Metro Airport confirmed the buses seen in the tweet were transporting NCAA basketball teams and their staffs.
