pressing what he calls a dirty rumor suggesting that Lee Harvey Oswald had had close contacts with the FBI another report says the top FBI officials deliberately destroyed a threatening letter Oswald sent to the FBI in Dallas about 10 days before the assassination also released this letter from J Edgar Hoover which reveals for the first time that Jack Ruby who killed Oswald was an FBI Informer all of which says Mark Lane is evidence of a cover-up of Watergate style proportion what would you call
a 20 of the evidence of the files about the assassination of John Kennedy today are locked away in the vaults of the FBI the CIA or in the National Archives over 60 percent of Americans believe that more than one person enacted the assassination of the president with more than a few conspiracies pointing the finger towards Hoover and Johnson a consequence of their differences in foreign and domestic policies similar viewpoints that King endorsed [Music] in any assassination a lone nut is needed
the use of a crazed individual in assassination plots eliminates any possibility of the perpetrators needing to reveal a reason perfect cover alone nut doesn't need a reason according to Rey Once he knew he was the Fall Guy he made his escape to Canada James Earl Ray spent the next 29 years in prison fighting for a retrial 1971. inister circumstances the illegal surveillance campaign that invaded King's life was intended to expose disrupt misdirect or otherwise neutralize groups the FBI declared subversive what better way to disrupt a group than removing the figurehead King's stance on the war was the last straw for the powers that be the dirty tactics used by the FBI highlighted a potential motive for the removal of King confidence has been shaken to its very Foundation by recent Revelations of the extent to which sort

report that entertained a likelihood of conspiracy in the assassination of King yes uh I have been threatened many many times there was a time that we received as many as 30 and 40 threatened calls a day and of course I received numerous threatening letters my secretary has come to the point now that she doesn't show me most of these letters but occasionally I come across them uh within the last few days I remember receiving a threatening letter and they say such things as uh this uh you uh you
are causing too much trouble in this town and if you aren't out within 10 days you and your family will be killed now in Montgomery our home was bombed twice and uh I guess these were the most uh severe instances of violence that we confronted but even today we still confront uh threats through telephone calls and and through the mail oh I'm convinced of that I was then and so was he it was a moment of pain and trauma and yet it was an inevitable moment in some sense we had prepared for such a
moment because we were clear that there had to be some um some suffering that had to be some crucifixion in order to get a resurrection in American society given the fact that our commitment was to stop the racial polarization to stop the economic exploitation and we were aware of the of the of the critical nature of of the forces that were against us in displaying the same humility as his father Dexter King supported by the wider family believed Rey's claims although he may be involved Rey was

was a conspiracy but what it does not tell us it does not tell us for example uh though you look into his background on the question of his life in the Army how he whether he was a marksman whether he could hit a man at that distance in the right sheep in a fashion that you are assured to to break the spine you can go ahead and keep asking questions forever that is was there a policeman there was there they even have a grassy no man like in the Kennedy assassination Dallas there's supposed to ha

@Autshot20

A loner is placed in a window of a building above the target, with no help he was able to position himself to be in the right place at the right time, uses a rifle that is left behind that will incriminate him, has no motive to act out against the target and little recent experience with a rifle. Gee, where have we heard that scenario before.

@Islandswamp

I’m not convinced that Ray didn’t take the shot. But I am convinced that he did not act alone. The fact that he was able to leave the country with money and fake passports after the assassination was enough to convince me.
