Bus was moving and he told me to move at police station with me... Now its polulation registeration Act... This is a part of.... I met this type of man for a first time... And this is very expensive... Its just waow... So this is one of the 7 wonders... The city view looks like this... ♫ Music ♫ Goodmorning, Salaam, Namaste, Sat Sri Akal How are you all ? I'm your friend, your brother, Dr.Raj Cycle Baba World Bicycle Traveller Once again i came to present you all... Right now I'm in Capetown And
today we are going to roam in Capetown. We will explore Capetown. Stay with me till the end of the video, you will be going to explore interesting things and me also... And how we are going to reach Pretoria, I will also show you that also in this video. This is Billu and he is going to drink tea now... I'm hiring Uber now... By Uber we will go to city centre. This guest house is 10 kms far from the city. I satrted talikng in Punjabi language... {laughing} So its 10 kms far from city centre and
I will go by Uber from here... And I will hire one bus from there through which I will explore the whole city. No problem for you. Ok thank you. Ok guys I called this taxi from Uber for travelling to city centre. And for this its showing 115 Rands. The distance is about 15 kms... Abdul is from Tanzania and he is doing his job means driving his cab. He is driving Uber. Here in South Africa people from many countries like Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe are working here... So thank you Abdul..
. He will drop me and then I will continue further. I reached at Waterfront area and for sight seening this bus operates from here. I have purchased ticket for 265 Rands. In 265 Rands I will have full city tour. Scan ? No its ok... Do I need to scan ? No. Ok Thank you. I will sit upwards... I will sit in this open area... This is Aquarium and here dolphins show operates... If you want you can also sit there. But I will sit here so that everything will be clear visible in camera. I have taken th
is beautiful bus so that I can explain you better and even I can explore in a better way. I haven't done with my breakfast yet. I thought to have breakfast first but now this bus is about to move.... ♫ Music ♫ This is called as clock tower. ♫ Music ♫ This is Waterfront area... And ships gets ready here only. Here people brought ships and ten they designed these ships again. 50% population of South Africa lives in the cities. Specially in Johannesburg and Pretoria. There is one place called as Ro
bben Island where they kept Nelson Mandela in the prison. ♫ Music ♫ This is International Convention Centre and its very beautiful. Along with it is Westin... Thee all are 5 star hotels. All international conventions and other programs held here only. This International Convention Centre was first strated in 2003. There was one man of Portugal and he first came in 1400's to search Pisces here and he was the first European. This is street center. Whatever you say but I'm enjoying. Here two statue
s are situated and both are at the corners which was made in 1600. ♫ Music ♫ This called as Long Street. ♫ Music ♫ That is a beautiful mountain... That is famous Table Mountain. ♫ Music ♫ Here on the full moon day the sun will set from one side and the moon will emerge from the other side. The road gets jammed on the day of Full Moon day. This is Line Mountain. Cable car will operate from here and it will go till there. But this place is very crowded and I have to wit for 2-3 hours for cable car
. And you can go by hiking also... But I have limited time so I will see. Lets eat something first and here I'm purchasing this round bread It is called as Caprice. Its vegetarian ? This Caprice is Vegetarian ? No I don't eat chicken or meat. Thank you so much. And I need one Cappuchino... This will be my breakfast as I haven't eat anything since morning. ♫ Music ♫ {background noise} I came at self ticket counter and withdrawn ticket with my card. I got my ticket. Ticket price is 360 Rands. We h
ave to go there, right now its very crowded so I should wait for sometime. I have to stand in waiting line. Here city view is like this and we will see how it will be from the top. The waiting line is long .... Welcome to the table mountain, an official new 7 wonders of the nature. And its height is about 1085 metres. And this cable will go till 1065metres after that we have go by own. The upper part is of grey colour made o sanstone and the middle part is reddish brown and behind it is of grani
te and behind that is siltstone. So this is made up of 4 stones... And you will be able to see each stone. Granite is in the middle of mud. So this is one of the 7 wonders of nature. Goodmorning ladies and gents and welcome to Table Mountain Cable Way. You kindly need to step away from the side of the cable car. {background noise} This cable car is rotating on its own... I feel a bit afraid... {background noise} The biggest problem you across when you visit any hill station that wind blows very
fast. So you can see how wind is blowing here.... {background noise} Its just waow. The wind is blowing.... Wind is blowing very fast. ♫ Music ♫ Church is constructed therw and they have converted into shop. ♫ Music ♫ These pillars have been constructed in the memory of people who got expired in the construction of this ropeway. These are available at many places, spreads into 3-4 kms. Table Mountain... ♫ Music ♫ I feel afraid and heart is beating fast as I have phobia from height. This place is
unique and wonderful. Its height is very much from sea level and sea is situated on foursides. This is not a small places, it spreads into long area. {singing} This is a nationa park actually at Table Mountain and you cannot pluc flowers or plants here. ♫ Music ♫ Lets say goodbye to this beautiful place . ♫ Music ♫ They have made one model here.... This is Sea.... This is line mountain and we are here at this point right now. And this point is called as table mountain and it will go downwards
slowly -slowly.... So this is the table mountain, cable car starts from this point and reached here. So this is thecomplete map of Table Mountain. ♫ Music ♫ At one time 64 people can come inside this cable car. It can take weight of 200 kg. ♫ Music ♫ We reached at base point, came from that top point and now reached here. It took 3 minutes for reached here from the top. I'm waiting for the bus now. Once our bus will come then we will go to another place. There are 2-4 more places and after that
I will be doing lunch. After lunch I will see that from where will I get bus for returning back to Pretoria. Pretoria is situated at a distance of 1500 kms from here. This place is managed by officials quite well. And I was getting afraid in cable car as it was vibrating. Because here wind blows very fast due to coastal area. And at the top also wind was blowing very fast. So you must be having a problem with sound quality but please adjust with me. ♫ Music ♫ This is world's most scenic coastal
view. {background noise} In this area you will see white males... White males come from Australia here only to have children and then return back. ♫ Music ♫ If you are rich and wanted to do classic tour then you can do on this car. But its very expensive, They charge $400 for one day. ♫ Music ♫ One thing is interesting to see here that these trees are a bit downward in this direction... Its sue to wind blows to this direction after hitting the building. So due to this reason trees are in bendin
g position. ♫ Music ♫ In this stadium Fifa World Cup 2010 was held here. ♫ Music ♫ I step out from the bus and right now Im at city centre and I met with Vikas. How are you Vikas...? Namaste I'm good. And you are doing Phd here ? Yes. From Capetown University ? Yes in University of Capetown. In which department ? I'm doing in social development. I forgot to remove my mask.... {laughing} So you are doing in social development and your native place ? I'm from Assam.. Oh dreat for the first time I
met someone from Assan in foreign.... Very few people go to foreign from your side... I feel great as he messaged me also that I'm coming to meet you.. I told him that you are most welcome So thank you. Thank you brother for coming. No thanks to you that you came at city centre. So we will now roam nearby places. What is this place ? This is a market basically its a hawkers market and 2-3 landmark things are there. One well is situated here and it was primarily for African people in early times.
After tht we can go to Vocabb... and can go to St. George Cathedral. There is one interesting thing in Capetown, Here one small piece of Berlin Wall is there. When Nelson Mandela visited Germany, they have given to him as gift. This is the well ad black people was used to use this. We are at city centre CBD area. This was the only source of water at that time. St. George Cathedral is there, Desmond Tutu who got the noble prize who got expired at the starting of his year only... He was the first
Black Anglican Archbishop Swaai and fetching water from the source and this was the daily chores for husehold slaves... Specially slaves... Because there is one slaves lodge also where they used to keep slaves at that lodge. So for them this was the area and they carry water from here. If you do research here then they will gie you grant as per Mandela Rules Foundation. Ok so this is their official .... Its for every african country if you wanted to read under grad or post grad... Its highly co
mpettive to get scholarship from this foundation. If you get it then its one of the big thing. This is the piece of Berlin Wall. I will show you this alsio when I will go to Germany again. So then I will show you. And one more thingI would like to show you that this is Hotel Taj... I saw it by chance as Taj is written on it, So this is Hotel Taj of our Tata Group. At the fromnt you can see St. George Cathedral. Desmond Tutu, the first Black Anglican Archbishop... He was the Archbishop of this pl
ace. And when he got expired his last rites were performed at this place only. Yes, he got expired in this year only. Yes I was here only at that time but I was suffering from Covid and could not come here. At that side you can see Slave Lodge for which I was talking about... The slaves lives here at this place.... Ok.. And they used to bring water from that point. Ok. This whole area... In slave lodge they will not only tell you the slave history but if you visit slave lodge then they will tell
you the complete apartheid history and will tell you about all brutality. This is High Court building. I will show you one more thing... Here its like.... Earlier there was a discrimination between balck and white people and there are racial classification boards so they discrimate according to race and they used to segregated people... You can see its written over here for Non-White only... This for coloued people and like us... And that seats are for White people. At the time of apartheid, on
e act of passed on the basis of anti pople which was population regulation Act. Ok. And related to your documentation things.... These people can't get married with other people like they cannot marry out of their community. They were kept separated from other people. This thing is aboyt race classification board that how they segregated from others. See its written over here as Bantu.... Bantu here is like a discriminatory word which you should never use, So they used to call them with this nam
e also. So these were the things here as they dscriminate people with body or skin colour. Now we are at company garden and its very beautiful, full of greenery. So this is the stautue and road is named here... He was like the businessman and on his name there are roads foundations also. And he has done philantropic work also. But here recently got some... Yes.. This is the bell which was brought here in 1855, originally they brought at this place in 1911. At the front you can see Signal Hill. T
ell us something about Signal Hill. Its self explanatory... It was used to signal... Like if any ship came at the dockyard then they make one gun fire from there which still in operational as same exactly they make fire at 12 from Monday to Saturday. This was not only to mark that ship arrives there but also to tell the slaves that what is the current time. Ok. They have its 12 Museums in Capetown. And I have seen all the museums because every Friday I use to come and visit all these places. And
thats free for sudents... This is National Library and its so beautiful. Center of the books. This is called as open house that red colour building...Its a mark of democracy. They have made thi small in red coulur in between the big towers of City Centre. So guys now we have reached at some other place. So Mitesh tell me something about this place as it seems very colorful. This area is called as Bo-Kaap. Primarily this area and all these houses which you can see...These all houses were constru
cted near 1760 and rent out for the slaves. Because here the majority of people which brought here like some people came from India, Jawa, Bangadesh, Selong and Sri Lanka.... They were resettled here and they have constructed they houses for them and given on rent. Later on at the time of apartheid they displaced people from here. After displacement these people moved to different places. But once they reurned back to this place to this Bo-Kaap area.... They started occupying these houses and st
arted colouring these houses in different colours to express inner way their freedom or joy of coming back to home They were happy to return at their homes. And primarily.... Cape Malay, the community of Muslims people in Capetown... People from that community is largely living here. And even people from Bangladesh lives here, people from Jawa, people from Malaysia and Indonesia are also living here in large numbers. Now see these houses all are of different colors.... The whole street is like t
his. People have made these Antiques... This place is called as Bo-Kaap Bazaar. People have made beautiful antiques from small things... So guys this was the internal tour of Capetown inside city. So we have covered the city tour in 2 ways ....By Bus and by walking also only for you guys and for your blessings.... So do share this video and rest Vikas will say.... Guys share and subscribe.... {laughing} Page of Cyclebaba... He is just kidding... Its your choice only. First I have to book the tic
ket from here for Pretoria. We have reached underground railway station. At this side is Metro station, all Metros are operational from here only. Now we are going to book a ticket for Pretoria and we have to cross this area.. Guys I'm in Uber taxi now and going back to guest house. From there I have to do..... The ticket which I got is valid till 5:30 only and the current time is 4:30. Within 1 hour I have to go to the guest house, need to pack my stuff and Dhanno and then will return back til
l 5:30 here. So guys I'm in a hurry I don't have much time. Because bus will leave at 6. The benefit of bus is that there is one trailor and Dhanno can easily accomodate in that trailor so there will be no problem. Otherwise I might to face some problems. I got the ticket for Pretoria from here in 500 Rands and I have to check the weight of luggage as upto 20 Kg its free after that if weight exceeds then you have to pay extra charges. I have kept Danno inside and thi brother is going to drop me
at Bus Stand. {background voices} This is Amit bro... And this is my brother.....{laughing} In Punjabi we used to say like this... This is the guest house of my brother. I boarded this bus at 6 pm yesterday and right now the time is 12 and still its showing 200 kms. Continuo 30 hours journey of bus and distance of 1500 kms.....My body is getting severe. We have reached at Joburg and departed from Joburg just now... I stepped out in Joburg and one policemen came and said to me that we need to che
ck.. They does my checking...I raise my hands and then he asked for my passport. I gave my passport to him and he told me that this is not valid its period is over. I told him to check the validity date again. He said no this is the stamp from Lusotho... He actually saw me I was withdrawing money from ATM and he saw this thing and just bothering me. My bus was about to leave and he was saying that lets come to the police station. Our conversation went on for a long time, then I called Embassy bu
t they didn't pick up the phone... So the bus driver supports a lot for Indian people... And he told everything about my travelling to him. But he was not listening then I again called at Embassy. But they didn't received my call but before that onlt the policemen returned my passport and he left from there. So it was like even the bastards have some limits.... But it happens sometime. So guys if you also encountered with same situation while travelling then first thing is to never gets panic. B
ecause I know what can he do, he can just take me to the police station and I have no problem in that. He can pull out the money from my pocket. But afterwards I will spoil his career... Because I will call Embassy there and press also. So if you are not wrong then you don't have to panic at all specially when you are travelling a country like South Africa. Yes there are some countries where there is a rule of dictatorship there is a need to panic somewhere. Anyhow, This all happens with me. I'm
sitting in this bus for almost 22 hours now... So I just wishes I reached soon....Pretoria is 40 kms from here and then I will talk to you. A there also some problems will persist after 4 o' clock as robbery issues prevails... Lets see what will happen. I have reached at Pretoria and now crossing Indian Embassy... So I'm going to Neeraj's place... In between I also had my beard and haircut... Rest of the story I will tell you later.... Right now I'm having some safety issues. ♫ Music ♫
