Wild Ep.20" Today I am riding 2023 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, generously provided by Suzuki Australia for this adventure Thank you Suzuki Australia for the motorcycle loan, I truly appreciate it. The new V-Strom is a pretty awesome machine, really nimble and heaps of power. So far I am Really enjoying it. it really doesn't feel like 230kg I am wearing a new body armor, Adventure Spec's "Super Shirt". It's a huge upgrade from my Acerbis Le
vel 2 body armor Thank you Adventure Spec for sending me the 'Super Shirt', it arrived just in time for this adventure. I'm heading back somewhere familiar to test out the 800DE, I know the tracks pretty well here. This bike is so much fun. Perfect, I was hoping no one would be here I really did not expect to enjoy the new V-Strom as much as I did, the ride in was pretty awesome. Makes me feel like I need a mid-size adventure bike in my life. For this type of terrain the 800DE is right at home.
I'll be sleeping in the 'Wudjah Gear' hammock again. It is quickly becoming my favourite sleep system I've also got a new peace of kit 'Wudjah Gear" sent me to complete my hammock setup. I finally have a Gear hammock to hang all my gear under the hammock. Thank you 'Wudjah Gear' I love how simple this hammock is to setup and how light it is. Overnight temps should be about 8 degrees tonight. I'm using my insulated sleeping pad as I do not yet have an underquilt. It is on my list of things to get
before the weather gets too cold. Thank you 'Wudjah Gear' I truly appreciate the mini gear hammock. I have a link to 'Wudjah Gear" Instagram in the video description one of my favourite features of this hammock is the sliding gear pocket attached to the ridgeline inside the bug net. it's a super handy feature. and tomato soup for dinner tonight. Not bad at all, it is definitely better than expected. yet another beautiful Tallarook sunset. I'm reflecting on the ride in this morning and the 800DE, I really could see myself on one for certain adventures, It really is an awesome machine. I still very much love my DRZ400E, I have a few modifications planned for her in the coming months. Good Night Good morning! It was cold last night, I'm glad I brought my insulated sleeping pad. in the 'Wudjah Gear Bagawa Hammock'. I'll start packing camp shortly, I'll ride a few trails before heading home. I had such a good time riding the V-Strom800DE and hammock camping on this adventure. Thank you for joining me on this adventure.

Thumbs up to Suzuki for lending you the 800E . Personally have a DRZ , can't ever envisage selling it, it definitely fills a gap in my riding style. Sadly I bought a different brand in the larger to mid style bike . Rode near 900 klm last weekend and definitely found it's limitations in the High Country.
Wonderful Landscape. Which saddlebags did you use. The 800de is really remarkable.
New bike
Never knew a new v was being released, was looking at a klr if I buy a new bike but these look promising. Would need a bigger front windscreen for touring but worth checking out I think. Great area down in tallarook, need to get down there again and it’s not hard being a hour or two down the Hume. Enjoyable ep man, and great to see a simple minimalist camp set up, best way to do it.

I'm watching it and I can't wait for spring. it's winter in Poland and it's about 0 degrees Celsius. apart from that, the motorcycle is disassembled because it is waiting for service and unfortunately I have a problem with the availability of parts.
