Greetings one and all. Uh going to talk to you this
week about the last video, but mostly about the music, uh sometimes called 'Chill Lounge' or 'LoFi'.
How would I know about all these designations? Well I was over at my daughter's place and she
put on the 'Little Student' animation with the 'LoFi' music and all that and I thought well that's
pretty interesting, maybe I need some background music for this uh compilation of videos about the
'Mountain Man', and you know, the story about how h
e came to be and what he's doing here on Earth, and
all that and thought 'LoFi' might be one of those things. Now we'll go back to when we took a trip
down to Bath (city); we went down to Barcelona uh about a month later, and in those places we stayed,
in two hotels and the chill music, the 'Chill Lounge' music, it just set the mood. And uh, very
interesting places. Um 'Hotel Zed' in Bath very good, and uh 'Roommate Pau'. And those were the two
places that we stayed at, and they both had th
is great music. Great atmosphere. Very easy to meet
people like yourself, travellers. Uh you know, ask where they're from. We met people from Italy, and uh
Romania, some people from France, and uh Germany. And uh it was really great getting along with them,
but it was that music that sort of set the tone. So I thought maybe that we'd do something like
that. I wrote the song in oh a matter of a day and it was mostly improvisation, and just getting
the right sounds, adding a little bit of aco
ustic guitar in. You may not hear it but it's there, and
getting that flutey sound, but mostly that ambient piano that sort of rings, a deep echo, a little bit
of delay. And that added uh width and breadth. Kind of made it so it was atmospheric. Kind of like the
atmosphere that would surround someone who wasn't really familiar with their environment and still
learning about it. So that's all I'm going to say for this week. Uh we're going to have some more in
about a week or two, and that wi
ll be more about the Intros themselves and the 'Mountain Man' and
