CRIMSON DIDN’T DESERVE THAT WOMAN!
I have a theory since Moxxie’s mother looks like she came from the Wrath ring and maybe was in an arranged married Crimson. I remember seeing fan art of these two on their wedding day. Crimson was smiling, but she wasn’t. Bet her parents thought that if she married rich, they would be out of poverty. And during Moxxie’s flashback. I bet she wanted him to grow up loved and cared about him so much. She tried to leave Crimson so Moxxie could have a better life away from him. But we all know how that turned out 😢

Honestly I like the idea that she might still be alive. The fact that she left him and all he did was throw away her clothes is great to hear. However I don't think it to be true. Knowing the kind of individual Crimson is, he wouldn't let it happen. The guy has trophies of the individuals who crossed him.

I like this. It not only implies a REAL bond between them that existed at some point or another, it also kind of indicates an understanding they had to have had at one point. And I like the ending because even if it may not be true, it’s a good little highlight on what once was, as well as Crimson’s petty nature. Plus, the melancholy expression on his face that seems to show him knowing how badly he fucked up and that nothing will ever be the same again
This is such awesome storyboard animation! It added a much needed depth to character of Moxxie's mom, I especially like how you portrayed her as mischievous. Crimson is my favorite character in this show, so it was a big treat to see him. I liked his hot temper (when he was pissed at his wife teasing him) and a touch of comedy ("learn to fish", lol). I think you captured his character very well. Thank you for creating such fun chemistry moment between them!
Moxxie having his moms goat legs is really cute, I love that detail.
I like the whole idea and I find the reveal quite humorous, but it's kinda at odds with itself if you ask me because giving Crim the kind of depth like this really makes him that less threatening.
There’s one thing I say is good about crimson, he has great taste in women

I find the 1-sided game of footsie to be a perfect representation of Crimsons "all take no give" attitude.
Honestly i like to think that deep down he's not a monster, or nearly as bad as he is when moxxi is all grown. Just time and the nature of what he is and does turned him into a jaded, bitter, and generally angry person. I think everyone starts out normal, and deserving of some measure of happiness.
This is so beautiful, love this footsie love language not only does it add depth to the characters but it also emphasizes the toxicity. Now I'm remembering that scene all 3 were eating at the table the inner conflict shows but she was doing the footsie thing for emotional truce but he used their love language as an act of revenge how dare you soften our boy no you don't get any affection /love from me . 😢
