back to news talk on this Friday morning we are talking with Sarah Nolan and she is here representing the sunshine medals um and retirement community and their annual Gala that's coming up but first we want to talk about the retirement community it's a special place it's a nonprofit tell us about to yeah nonprofit is a big deal so sometimes people don't realize that we are a nonprofit and we are able to do everything that we do for our residents because of things like this fundraiser because of
the community helping you support tell us about the community the retirement community yeah so we have a full Continuum of Care so no matter what level of care you or your loved one would need we have everything to take care of you yeah you're not here in witch but you're not far away right right absolutely a small lovely community of ber Kansas just really close to Hutchinson so well tell us about the fundraiser then and how it's to help support and what do you use the funds for yeah so this ye
ar specifically we are raising funds for our annual um the annual Gaya is to help our assistant living memory care unit which is being built right now and it's supposed to be done by the end of June so wow so that's new so it's already getting worked on right now right we already do have a memory care unit but this one is a new one for just Assisted Living we've noticed that with this new generation coming up there is cognitive decline but they don't always need the full skilled nursing which we
have in another area so oh okay always good to have that extra help and so let's talk about when the event is right it is uh coming up soon next Friday March 1st um it's at the Sand Hill Center in Hutchinson and um doors open at 545 and anyone can come yes absolutely you're welcome to get on to sunshin meadow. and get a ticket there and what's the cost it's $100 a ticket okay and what if we can't make it to huton next weekend can we steal support absolutely you can also donate right online as w
