welcome and if you're coming here from another video and now you're wondering what is this girl's
Channel about good point haha I have a ton of interests and a ton of playlists so let me tell
you my story. I was born on May 16th go Taurus go! I have a younger sister and wonderful parents
that moved here from Poland and now we currently live in Toronto it took me all of five years to
declare that I wanted a career in singing acting and
dancing and I became obsessed with movies such
as Selena and dirty dancing and I wanted that sort of rise to fame/ blow up story where you fight
for the underdog and then they succeed beyond your wildest expectations ... and that's what
I wanted for myself so my parents and I began our quest to fulfill my big dreams. I joined a
modeling agency and then it turns out it was a scam then I found an acting agency and I was so
excited and then you guessed it a few months later found out it was a
scam it closed down it was in
the news and that cycle continued for a couple more years until my parents kind of said enough.
So after thousands of dollars spent we had to take a little bit of a break-- but that didn't stop
me you didn't think that would be it did you?? I continued training throughout high school,
University... then I graduated got a job in film and television where I was literally meters
if not side by side with top tier A celebrities. So even though I wasn't the star yet
I was in the
right place and I had a few tricks on my sleeve you know what I mean? You know... and that's where
my YouTube journey started. I figured if I had such a hard time getting into film other people
must not know as well. I didn't have industry connections so my series on YouTube started and
that was called Jobs in Showbiz. I highlighted industry professionals who had cool jobs in films
so other people could figure out how to get in as well. I started to interview people outside of
show business... think psychics, the military, police force you name it and it was so much fun!
It was such a ride! Things got a bit confusing after that because nobody knew what I did, even
though my show was called the Olivia G show, Olivia Connects... I tried to rebrand & people
thought was a job recruiter...and so I know I needed to switch things up. Another issue that
came up are scheduling issues with my interview series. If somebody canceled I didn't have content
for that week sinc
e my whole channel revolved around highlighting other people, I heavily
depended on them and at some point I wanted to take back that control. Yes I'm a control freak!
But then I wanted more and that's okay... and that's when Olivia G Media was born. I decided to
help new actors break into film and television and really specifically help them with the business
side of acting because there are tons of acting classes out there and people that want to help you
hone your craft but no one's actu
ally guiding you on resumes, headshots you know... how to present
yourself. Although I'll always be open to helping actors, right now I'm gearing my services towards
business owners/ entrepreneurs that are looking for social media content because I think the name
of the game here and what I'm passionate about is being in front of the camera and helping you show
up as well. I've spent a majority of my life in front of the camera because it's what excites
me, it's what challenges me. I love t
raveling with you guys and taking you with me. If I learned
some new fashion tips, beauty tips I just want to share my message, share my life, share my journey
and now I'm realizing I don't have to pick just one thing... because I literally cannot pick just
one thing and that's okay. So I'm here to show you how to live a creative life because if I can do it
so can you! I'm not sure what the future holds... maybe I'll be a fashion designer, maybe I'll be
an interior designer, maybe I still w
ill get my big break in acting. I am just focusing on having
fun, staying open and making the most out of life while sharing my journey with you. So hopefully
