What are you afraid of? If someone tries to intimidate you or says something threatening in the future, why should you let fear take over? If you don't want to be bad, then send me the link, I will catch it and stop it. I will keep stopping, it doesn't matter who it is. Someone is trying to fraud someone, giving wrong information, wrong or right, no one will say anything and go. Hello everyone, No changes needed for this sentence as it is already contextual and modern. Today's video will focus o
n internal links and their impact on your website's SEO as a whole, not just on-page SEO. So let's dive in! If you've stumbled upon this video by mistake and haven't watched the previous 7 parts of this series, be sure to check them out after finishing this one. Additionally, we have a series of 6 videos that you may find helpful. on Image SEO, which you should watch. You can easily access the links to all of these videos by checking the top right corner or the video description. You can search,
you are SEOs. Okay. Alright, let's get back to the main point of this video, which is all about internal links. Now, internal links are as powerful as external links. I know this might sound surprising, but internal links are just as effective as external links. After all, links are links. Right? Internal and external. This is just a classification. But people tend to overlook internal links because they think it's like mixing chicken and lentils. It's an old saying. Right? But how do these int
ernal links affect your website? Let's see. Number 1. It helps real users to explore your entire website. We put a header for navigation on our website. There are a lot of important pages links in this header. But the header is common in the entire website. The same links are available everywhere. So, if you want that if your XYZ user explores the internal pages, the related pages, the dwell time on your website increases, more pages are explored on your website, the metric of views per session
touches the sky, and you don't always depend on new users, then you should use internal links so that when a user has earned through your search on your website, they come and see one page, get good internal links on one page, see the second page, after seeing the second page, see the third page. You don't have to depend on SEO again and again. The traffic on your website will keep on boosting. What is the target of SEO on your website? Not only to bring new users, but also to show other pages t
o the users who have come. So, internal links help you in this. Number 2. Internal links help search engines to index your pages. Because when you link from one page to another page, link from another page to the third page, then what does the crawler do? It keeps on crawling. Googlebot is programmed to crawl all the links on a page whenever it visits it. This is why Google had to create an attribute called NoFollow. No other company had thought of it before. So, Googlebot was forced that whenev
er it goes to a page, it will crawl all the links on it. And Google was wasting a lot of time crawling through irrelevant links. That's why Google has added an attribute called NoFollow. So Googlebot can be informed that it's fine to skip crawling certain links. However, this weakness can be exploited to index all the pages on your website. When you choose to index a particular page out of many, you are essentially signaling to Googlebot that this page holds significant value. Because just like
external backlinks tell Googlebot that this page is very important, similarly, internal links tell the same. Because links are links. There is no difference between the two. Number three, it distributes the page rank of one page to all the other pages. We all know that naturally, the homepage of any website is the most linked. It gets the most traffic, in most of the cases. And it is the most popular. But if you don't link all the other pages to this homepage, then you are keeping your page rank
only on the homepage. How will your service pages rank? How will your product pages rank? How will your category pages rank? When you link all the other content to your content. By linking all the other pages to your homepage, you can improve the structure of your website. This way, the page rank that is gathered on the homepage will be distributed to all the other pages, including the service, product, and category pages. This will help even the smallest page to rank better. ranking for its re
lated query. So, I think these three reasons are important enough to take the internal links of any website seriously. Now, let's see when you make internal links, when you start making your internal links structure, what you have to do and what you don't have to do. Do's and don'ts, both are important to know. So, our internal links checklist, has two parts. Do's and don'ts. First, let's see what should be done. Do's. The first point in the list of do's is the volume of internal links. On every
page of your website, you should include at least 2-3 internal links. That means, on every page of your website, there should be at least 2-3 links. This will encourage your page to explore. This will encourage your Googlebot. And the normal users will visit your internal pages. At most. Point number 2 is the relevance of the link. The way external links are important, the same way internal links are important. You have to make a link for your page on your own page. However, this doesn't imply
that we can place the link of that page on any random page. For instance, if you're discussing a service on your webpage, you can internally link the information page, category, or testimonial page related to that service. But it's not like you provide a link of an absolutely irrelevant page from that page. Or link an unrelated service. So, when you are giving an internal link to your own page from your own page, you have to pay full attention to the relevance. Number 3. You have to find good an
chor texts for your internal links. Just like with any regular external link, the anchor text you use for your internal link informs Google about the relevance of that link. It tells about the importance of that link. Even if you ignore Google for a couple of minutes and assume that your traffic is not from Google but from social media or direct traffic, Google will still determine the relevance of the page by analyzing the anchor text. Every person's time is precious. By giving good anchor text
on the internal link, you can encourage your users, your website visitors to visit your internal pages. Point number 4 is the structure of links. Whenever we create an internal link to our pages, it's very important to pay attention to the URL structure of the pages. If you neglect the URL structure, you'll encounter numerous problems in the Google Search Console. We have talked about this in many videos that one link can be accessed through many different URL patterns. For example, HTTP, HTTPS
, www, non-www, and along with that, the forward slash, this slash can also have URLs or without it. So there is only one URL, there are many ways to access it. But you have to use the same URL pattern. Right? I hope you know this much by now. But when you create an internal link and quickly, randomly, enter any URL, this creates a problem. If your website uses the www version repeatedly in backlinks, its structure, and while creating links, and you accidentally type the naked domain instead of
the www version, it can cause problems. So it's important to use the correct URL pattern consistently. the forward slash and miss it, then this creates internal link issues. And you'll see a lot of these issues on the Google Search Console. What is the way to solve them? Whenever you create an internal link, then see once, pay attention to what kind of URL structure is being followed on your website and use it exactly. And along with that, the friends who work on WordPress, keep in mind that whe
never you create an internal link, don't use the dynamic links. Give a complete URL. Don't rely on WordPress for this work. Give a complete URL, it will be better. No changes needed as the current translation is already contextual and modern. This was the list of things to do, but now let's talk about what not to do, what mistakes to avoid and regret. Number 1, never use a generic anchor for your internal links. For example, read more, find out more, click here, click there, tap, don't do all th
is. This kind of generic anchor text downgrades the value of your internal links. The user doesn't know anything about the page. And even Google doesn't know anything. I know read more, or find out more, or click here, this is used in a very generic way, but it's a bad practice. No changes needed as the current translation is already contextual and modern. In this way, then all the people who steal in groups, become good. So you don't have to use generic anchor text, you don't have to use all th
is. Give proper anchor text, think of something, work a little hard, and after that. Point number 2, you should not link contact us, or contact now, to many pages, to many pages. What happens in most websites, that you have made a service page, and there, the button for book now, or book appointment, when the user clicks on it, it becomes contact us page. Now on your website, let's say, there are 17, 20, 25 service pages, all of them have contact us button, in place of CTR, prominently, in the m
ost prominent place, but when the user clicks on it, where does it go? On the contact us page. And what do you have on the contact us page? There is no information, there is only your address, and a form is there. No changes needed. The current translation (T) is already contextual and modern. Right next to the back door, on the contact us page? Don't do this. Keep the contact us form on the same page, let the user stay on the same page. Save the internal link, and focus on other important, traf
fic, informational pages. Don't link contact us, or about us page too much. Link from where it is necessary. You must have already made a contact us link, or about us link on the header, that is enough. If there is a lot of information, available on your contact us page, some important thing, some scenario of doing a demo book, then it is a good thing. Otherwise, normally, only the contact us form, and the link of an address. If you include 2 or 3 internal links on each page, make sure to avoid
leaving any pages without links. Make sure every page has at least 2 or 3 internal links to avoid having orphan pages. Because if a page does not get an internal link from anywhere, it will become an orphan. Its URL may be on the site map. But Google has no reason to index such pages. So make sure that your every page is linked with every page. Point no. 4. Do not create links from any H1 or H2 headings. This question is often asked. Technically, there is no problem with this. But in any page, t
he headings are its skeleton. And the body, the flesh of that page is its content. And we do all the piercing or tattoo decoration on the skin. Not on the bones. So keep all the internal links for the main content. Keep H1 and H2 and H3 blank. Do not make links on them. Use normal content. The user will like it more. The structure of your page will be correct. So these were all the points about internal links. And I hope that when you audit your website or create a new website or create new page
s, you will keep the internal links good. So that your page rank will be healthy. The website will be better ranked. The internal pages will be indexed and ranked quickly. Along with that, the users will also get a chance to explore the rest of the pages of your website. A good marketer doesn't always focus on acquiring new customers. Instead, the focus should be on turning new customers into repeat customers. The one user has come. You have one visitor from Google search. Focus on showing him 2
pages, 3 pages, 4 pages. Keep them rotating towards your inner pages. So that your page views will increase. Whether it is an ad revenue goal. Or you want to generate traffic on the website. Or you want to generate more leads. You want to increase the number of users on your website. You want to improve the branding. All these things, all the goals can be achieved through your internal links. So the topic is covered. What to do now? Should we talk further or turn off the camera? But since the c
amera is already hot, let's have fun. In the last 3-4 videos, we have enjoyed Google. We have enjoyed the Gulguls. And the credit goes to you. Many of you have shared the topics of the videos. You have shared the links of the videos. And there were such things in those videos. It was necessary to bring them in front of everyone. So that new people do not get discouraged here and there. So if you see such an example in the future. Then pick up the link and tell us in the comment. Or tell us on th
e community post. But tell us. And why don't you share? What are you afraid of? If someone threatens you in the future, then why are you afraid? YouTube creators are the same. YouTube creators are like YouTube creators or Instagram creators. It doesn't matter how many millions of followers they have. It doesn't make any difference. When an actor is made, whether he is a TV actor or a movie actor. There is a director who writes the story. The team is very skilled at what they do. Right? Someone k
nows how to run a camera very well. Someone knows audio engineering very well. Someone knows direction. Someone has written a very good story. And then they catch a person and tell him that you are an actor. All our hard work is set on you. He is given space to act in front of him. And then it is released on a large scale. What is in YouTube videos? Anyone picks up the camera and shows it in front of him. Starts uploading videos. The platform is free. YouTube is not taking money from anyone. It
is free. Anyone can do anything. And suddenly someone's video is picked up. And he has some followers. It doesn't matter. We are not important. What's important is what you know. Fame should never be confused with skill. Anyone can earn fame. It takes hard work to earn skill. So you should increase your skill. And if you see someone talking about their feed, catch him and tell him. And if you don't want to be bad, send me the link. I will catch him and tell him. I will keep telling him. It doesn
't matter who he is. Why should it matter? If he is saying something wrong, he should tell me. If I am saying something wrong, tell me too. But no. If there is a topic like this, someone is trying to fraud someone, giving wrong information, make a movie review, make a trailer review. Make a trailer review. Dance. Make a comedy. It doesn't matter to me. I am not in that field. I have new knowledge. But the field about which there is knowledge, on that, no one will say anything wrong. We will hold
them responsible. People have to be responsible. There should be no freedom to say anything. See you in the next video. Till then send a link to some other video. It should be entertaining. Thank you so much for watching this video. My name is Amit Tiwari from amittiwari.net. And we will see you next time. Take care.
