10 years ago when our Flagship restaurant to Tony's was just in the making one thing became clear as we worked from our co-working space York thrives when its Community comes together and collaborates from day one we were set on making a restaurant that was by the community for the community when we opened up the doors of two Tony without a liquor license we got created with Chef's tables that benefited local nonprofits and more to invite our neighbors inside of our doors and those same neighbor
s got together to glue Pennies on the floor of the new bar when our license went through from there we created taste test an Innovative restaurant incubator that provided a platform for aspiring restaurant tours to test their ideas in the marketplace with the hopes of filling vacant storefronts community members sat together broke bread and provided constructive criticism on how to improve we operated 35 different restaurant Concepts over the course of 3 years five of which went to open up perma
nent food businesses this space transformed into the Cantina and avanos which to this day host bartending nights and themed events that give back to our local causes and organizations fast forward to the pandemic we did whatever it took to keep interacting with our community we took our pasta truck to the streets driving around neighborhoods like an ice cream truck we even delivered meat and toilet paper when it was hard to find we parked the truck and parking lots and sold noodles to benefit no
nprofits who were also going through a tough time the pandemic drove a need for Quick Service food and we answered with Presto fast Italian a build your own fresh pasta concept that offers scratch made meals in minutes we've created a handful of community spaces that regularly raise money through fundraisers and spirit nights for local teams and nonprofits we're even developing a scholarship program for the continuing education of our employees turns out together we've built a family of spaces t
hat are by the community for the community spaces that reflect the flavor of York blended with its undenied iable spirit and grit ambition over the last 10 years we've invested more than a half a million dollars back into our community's economy through donations to nonprofits and real estate investment alone we're ready to take oow and e to the next level with Presto by the community for the community and now owned by the community we can't wait for you to join us on this journey because togeth
