PAROKSH / परोक्ष - Inspired by True Events | A Short film by Ganesh Shetty | #DrishyamShorts

We fear what we cannot see. Watch PAROKSH, the first short film from #DrishyamShorts. Starring Amit Sial, Pooja Upasana and Yateen Karyekar. Directed by Ganesh Shetty, PAROKSH is inspired by a true story, where a simple act of forgetfulness by a man leaves a family horrified for nights. Paroksh, meaning invisible, is a meditation on how even ordinary events, if unexplained, get attributed to the divine, 'invisible' forces and lead to superstitions, a widespread and age-old issue in our country. I remember reading the same incident in the Newspaper. It happened in Kundapura. And, that priest was made to pay back the money which he took for performing the pooja.

@AtulSharma-ki6jm

We need more movies like Kantara which can proudly show Hindu culture of diffrent parts of India 🇮🇳Hope our movie industries from the South wont let their movies polluted by bad influence of the Bollywood . Should not let Bollywood corrupt them . I hope they don't walk on suicidal path of Bollywood infiltration.... They should say no to Bollywood money coming in .......... Why this Bollywood actor who is a proven convict in terrorism case being taken in Kannada movie industry which is getting respect all over india 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 now ???

@gopalpai2008

Brilliant short movie. It had the feel of a genuine horror movie and kept me guessing till the end. The twist was superb and it did make sense. The fear of unknown can sometimes make anyone imagine things and the ending was perfect to debunk any superstition.
