going on gaming Grandpa here a very nbish New
Path of Exile player I got to tell you this off the Hop I've installed it and uninstalled it
three times over the holidays the last 10 days uh I'm an avid Diablo player from the first Diablo
right up until last week I've taken a Break um love Diablo been trying to get with Poe for a
while just haven't been able to get into it but now I'm kind of into it but on my fourth install
the other day I've been able to make it to level nine so getting the
feel for it having some fun
with it still working on the PC keyboard mouse and mixing in with some game pad uh if you can
let me know in the comments which one will be better for me uh in the long run in this game I'm
still fresh on both for this game set up uh so I can switch full on either of them anytime but
yeah getting a feel for the game I'm a guardian Templar uh just playing it not following any guy
very basic guide following at the moment um I did look at a few things initially on
the passive
board to get started but just playing the game killing stuff leveling getting a feeling for it
I'm trying to understand it as it Go has gotten better I've really enjoyed it the last few days
I've played a lot like I said I've got the level 1 to n yesterday which was fun so we'll see where
we go today I have a few issues I won't get into right now just letting you know I got a feel for
it the noobs in multiple installs and reinstalls uh but we're at it now I don't think I'll be
uninstalling it anymore because I am looking forward to Path of Exile 2 coming too so I'd like
to get a part of it I think I'm in the campaign I believe um I think leagues are like seasons in
Diablo uh so yeah I'm taking in a lot enjoying it and possibly going to make some content like Crea
content videos shorts and uh we'll see I stream a lot on Tik Tok and YouTube the YouTube info up
top there here and on the short here but yeah let me know I'm enjoying the game any tips would
be awesome
you let me know about the controller versus the um gam pad I can go either on them
right now I do Diablo every I do everything keyboard and mouse but there's a game I could new
game I could go with the the GamePad in my hand which I'd like to try but yeah give me some info
if you can let me know I uh yeah if you know me from Diablo or Diablo 3 you know I like to roll
with people have fun and help people what notot but not looking for any of much right now just a
little guidance to get me in
the right direction gotta go let me know what you think newbie in

Some general advice: Early game, the most important stats on an item is the number and color of sockets, and how many are linked together. Adding several support gems on a skill can drastically improve your DPS far more than whatever stats the item has might. Life is an extremely good item stat to have, it's always one of the most important stats on your armor. Resistances are important to keep capped (by default the maximum is 75). As you progress through the campaign, you will teach a point where you get an extra -30 to all resistances permanently, which increases to -60 at the end of the campaign. Elemental resists should always be capped or close to it. Chaos resistance should be at least at 0 if possible as well. High life and good resistances will make a huge difference in survivability.
ummm controller is also nice but imo you still need the keyboard for typing.
Welcome to the deepdark side, I left Diablo at D3. This is much more nolife than D ever was. I use the Azeron gamepad and it's been a huge help.
