time for us to meet our pet of the week we have a puppy not a senior dog lead turet from the mom Human Society she's not a calm no she's not an old dog okay who is this girl this is Brooke she's two months old and you can tell she's in that puppy stage right now if you can see she's got a beautiful face beautiful green eyes she's a Masti mix which is beautiful going to be big there's um two others but she's just adorable sweet little girl that's looking for a for ever home we just mentioned that
10-year-old dog velcro you have a lot of adult dogs at the shelter right now we do we have over 165 that are waiting for homes you know a lot of them are Strays hopefully you know the um previous owner will come and get them but yes I mean adult dogs to me are the best they really are they're easy you don't have to go through this stage but you know a lot of people want the puppy and this is a fun stage but those adult dogs have so many benefits to doing them as well they're all spaying neuter
you know they have their microchip they're up on you know their vaccinations their heartworm treatments and everything they're house trained they have they have manners the majority of them all they want to do is just sleep with you and sleep on your couch and be okay is she saying you don't have manners yet she said I I don't I haven't learned that I haven't been to that class I adopted an older dog and you're so right she just wants to snuggle with you she wants to hang on the couch she's alre
ady house trained yes so those adult dogs do have have those benefits we're getting into kitten season yes we had a baby shower Sunday at our shelter um thank you for everybody that um supported that and gave us supplies but um if you're looking to Foster or help us you know through the kitten season buying supplies it's all the information is on our website and um hopefully we won't have too many this year if people find cats and kittens outside a lot of them want to take them in the house what
should they do Lee if they're babies if they're pries wait a couple of hours to see if the mom comes back you know that's what mom's out looking for food so if you can take care of the mom and the babies until they can go up for adoption that would help us immensely you have two big adoption events coming up as well yes April uh 13th out at the shops at East Chase is our puppy paloa where we'll have a lot of our adult dogs and then following Thursday is our dogon ball which is at the RSA activi
ty center and again you can sponsor one of our dogs or bring one of your dogs to be shown off that evening it's always a lot of fun Lee thank you so much thank you so much you're a fun little girl she said thank you
