Pete the Cat poster here followed by Pete the Cat stickers, too. This book would be great inside an Easter basket
unless it goes missing [DRAMATIC MUSIC!] Drama... One Easter morning, Pete the Cat
discovers his Easter basket is missing! [DRAMATIC MUSIC!] The Offscreen Technical Genius
is on high drama alert today "Where is my Easter basket?" he asks and apparently, whoever took the basket
left a note -- an IOU Easter Bas
ket IOU... what could it mean?! It means that whoever took
the basket owes Pete a basket which is an unusual thing
for a bandit to leave behind We should check that note for fingerprints! We don't have that kind of technology, Pink
Bear, but I do have this magnifying glass to find the teeny tiny clues? exactly!

famous paintings in the whole world but back to the hunt for the missing basket Then, Pete spots a bright blue
dot on the floor. And what's that? A Bright Red Dot. And that? A Bright
Garnet dot. What are all these dots? It's a jelly bean! Pete's favorite! And Pete finds another & then
another & then another & it's a whole trail of colorful jelly beans Hmm, says Pete, I wonder if
these will lead to my basket? Honestly, I don't understand why Pete the Cat
isn't eating all the jelly beans a
s he goes. Honestly, I don't either. Pete follows the jelly beans down the
street and around the corner to... Callie's house! Callie have you
seen my Easter basket ,Pete asks. No, says Callie, but I see a trail of candy eggs.
Let's follow it, says Pete. And Pete and Callie follow the
candy eggs - not eating them(!) through the yard and across the field to.... Alligator's house! Alligator, have
you seen Pete's Easter basket? I haven't, says Alligator, but look
at this trail of marshmallow ch
icks. We should see where it goes,
says Pete, and off they go. Quack quack quackity quackity quack Pete and Callie and Alligator now follow the
marshmallow chicks around the pond (ribit!) And still don't eat them...
What kind of self-control is this? Not mine. And they follow these chicks around the pond to... Gus's house! Gus, have you seen
Pete's Easter basket, asks Alligator. It's not here, says Gus, but there

seen Pete's Easter basket, asked Gus. No, says Turtle, but look. There are a
bunch of chocolate bunnies leading that way. OH COME ON!
I know! How can they not? Even I would be eating
the candy off the floor by this point. Let's go, everybody shouts. So
everyone has their Easter basket EXCEPT Pete the Cat, and they are on the
hunt. Let's see where the trail leads now. Pete & Callie & Alligator & Gus & Turtle follow
the chocolate bunny trail to
the playground It goes under the swings and down
the slide and around the monkey bars to a colorful Little House
in the garden. So Charming. It looks like the Trail Ends Here, says Turtle. But before Pete can even knock, the door
swings open, and everyone gasps, like this GASP!!!!
And then the...[DRAMATIC MUSIC!] Because NOW is the moment for that dramatic music It's the Easter Bunny?! Easter Bunny, asks Pete, have
you seen my Easter basket? And oh... the Easter Bunny looks sad. Everybody

lse looks super excited to see him but... What's up, Buns? Yes, he says, I have it. Every year,
I deliver all the Easter baskets but I never get one of my own, so I borrowed yours The Easter Bunny sniffles. I was going to bring it back
soon. I'm very sorry, Pete. PLOT TWIST! The Easter Bunny is the very person
who delivered the basket & then took it back?! WHOA! I did not see that coming, and the
Easter Dino would not have done that. Pete smiles and hugs the Easter
Bunny. That's okay, I und
erstand. Then Pete has a great idea. He puts
some of his candy in an empty basket that happened to just be lying around and he asked Callie and Alligator and Gus and
Turtle to all add candy from their baskets, too and soon, the new basket is bursting with treats Pete hands the basket to the Easter Bunny.

I dig it. I'm into it. Love it, love it. BUT... But? Why did they have to take candy from their
own basket considering there was candy all along the trail for what seemed like miles Because it was floor candy. oh oh And doesn't the Easter Bunny deserve clean candy? Yes, Abuela Bear. Yes, Abuela Be
ar Okay... But here's another question. Why did
Easter Bunny drop so much candy?! Well, maybe because he hops around,
and and it just fell out of his bag. Well actually that makes sense All I know is this wouldn't
