Hi my name is Vittoria and I'm a PhD student  here at DTU Food in the department of Food Microbiology and Hygiene where together with  Arla Food Ingredients and Arla Foods we will be working on a project called Track and Solve  and you might wonder what are we tracking, and of course what we are tracking is bacteria.  The main hypothesis of this project is to integrate metagenomics, whole genome sequencing  and molecular techniques to be able to track bacteria at dairy production sites. By study
ing  ecosystems and bacterial genomes we are trying to deliver to the dairy industry a fast tool to  be able to tackle dairy spoilage issues at sites.
