Not all switches are as easy to adjust
as our 400 Series pressure switch which features an easily
adjustable adjusting knob, or the 800 Series which has a
user-friendly push button display. Be careful not to use your fingernails when
pushing the buttons as you may puncture the pads. Our 300, 200 and 100 Series switches have
the adjusting screw in the center of the head which uses a 2 mm Allen wrench.
The adjusting screw can quickly be accessed by simply lifting the rubber
cover in the cent
er of the terminal pins. The 300 Series with integral pin or cable
requires the unit to be open to access the plastic adjusting screw.
Be sure not to strip the screw head by overtightening.
Or if you have the DIN EN 175301-803 Form A electrical connection you will first
need to remove the plastic head before accessing the adjusting screw.
Insert your 2 mm Allen wrench into the adjusting screw and make clockwise
rotations to increase the switch point and counterclockwise to decrease the switch
point.
Be careful as you make adjustments a little adjustment can result in a wide range change.
After making the adjustment you will check the switch under pressure to determine how
far the switch point has moved. Continue to make small adjustments until the
desired switch point is reached. Please keep in mind that a mechanical switch not
only has a switch point but also a direction. That needs to be considered when
checking the switch point adjustments. Contact NOSHOK customer support or
