PRODUCTIVE DAYS in my LIFE in NYC: pack with me for MIAMI! New York VLOG 2024

[Music] hello and welcome to a new video Welcome to a new Vlog welcome to a new week welcome to we're going to to Miami and did this really officially prep Weck I would be on the plane in 48 hours from now and I thought you know what since you've been enjoying the Vlogs lately so much and me showing a little bit more of what's happening in my life let's just pack together and you're going to see how much of a mess I am when it comes to packing and going on a trip and especially when it's for wor

k little break Harrison is having a drink the bar is open I don't know if you can hear him someone's very thirsty hi you want to come up oh good boy well since Harrison made an appearance on the Vlog let's just address what you've been asking me is he coming with me to Miami and the sad answer is no he cannot unfortunately Mr Harrison is staying in New York City but don't worry it'll be very well taken care of he's going to stay with people for like 24 hours and then he will go to Fair Banks's h

ouse and if you've seen the Vlogs now on the channel if you follow me on Instagram you know know who Fair Banks is is Harrison's best friend if I can't take him on the trip which is really rare that's where he goes Harrison sadly is not coming I mean to be honest having such a work trip it's going to be busy he'll stay in New York he'll go to Central Park he'll go to Riverside Park he's actually going back to the upper west side and it's actually going to stay an awesome iconic building I'm not

going to lie it's going to be a little emotional to leave him and it's going to be hard not to be with him but I'll be busy so that's the good part of it now going back to Miami I have have a lot of things to prep you know me by now I'm a stress bug I need to plan and that's how I can CM my nerves the days have been nuts and the nights have been short my mind is uh everywhere to try to get organized and not forget anything I do have a list which is pretty long just to make sure that everything i

s getting done before I leave I did receive all the package I needed I told you I have a dress code I have to wear bege light colors Miami Vibe casual but not too casual or ual I'm a photographer so I need some pockets and also need to not worry about my outfits because that's not the point of this trip first let's open up the packages that I received and do a little try on on the clothes welcome to the vog closet I wish it's just Jenny's very cheap closet as you can see I wear a lot of dark col

ors because once it's my style I had to be super creative and I wanted to see what I had in my closet trying to decide what I keep what I return I've received everything I'm banned from black I'm not allowed to wear dark colors everything has to be either white or be or you know really polished if I do wear colors it needs to be something kind of fun and vibrant which is definitely not me I tried to find some pieces that I could rewar this spring and this upcoming summer so let's begin with what

I already had white t-shirts and pink and just not allowed to wear those SP band tank top my obsessions you know with stripes I'm going to be able to wear as well during the day here's the thing and why it's such a big ordeal people are changing from tonight I am there for 4 days four nights even though the night before so I kind of need like eight different outfits I'm going to try to mix and match the good thing is that I am allowed to wear jeans during the day but they do have to be light wa

shed I do have this pair of mango jeans that I've never worn outside because I need to hem them this is going to look good with my shirts or t-shirt I think like this is going to be kind of like an easy uniform to wear for the night time we have dinners that are going to be upscale and everything everything I do have this which is still on like a darker part but vibrant pattern that I think like this is very Miami first I went to TJ maxxx for home decor and then I looked at their clo section and

it turns out they had spring things $13 on sale so I think this is something that I could definitely wear during the spring summer with like a pair white sneakers or you know some sandals another thing that I found and I actually love this on sale for $10 I really like this this is a little knit short sleeve with a little pattern and I think it's like even though it's only 10 bucks it's going to look so elegant I found one of those you know super cream Beed pants that are like dressy but they'r

e really comfortable for $112.99 I'm going to have to H this because these are super long then I went to H&M I did found this pant and I actually really like the material I'm going to have to try this and see if it really works because I kind of like the fit of this better from what I remember than this one I found great deals at mango like everything was 50% so let's open this this is what I got from mango I do like the length let's see how it looks the satin mey skirt I love the color so I'm r

eally excited to see how this fits and then the last package my shoes I ordered a few sandals that I found on target again everything was on sale and the first thing I got I really want them to fit the central sandals when I saw them they were just Calling My Name super simple sandals you know we've seen that style forever and then the last one a pair of heels you know we've seen this style everywhere and this my friends is how I make a mess of my living room but now the fun part is the Tryon [M

usic] I did lay out all you know my sewing gear I haven't taken my sewing machine for such a long time and I'm a little bit anxious about Heming those pens I only have two things that I need to do really to make my life easier I'm just probably try to do a clean cut I'll just sew a little bit at the edges the things that I'm stressed the most about are this pants because they are very stretchy I don't know how my sewing machine and my skills are going to react react to that I think I might sew i

t tonight and as you can see laundry is done so I think I'm going to fold the laundry change the [Music] beddings it is time my friends I have to pay the rent it's been a year of me paying rent in this apartment and this is my first time paying since the rent increase I hate it but it's the game it's part of being an [Music] adult this is ready and I can drop this off while we go on a walk this afternoon and pick up a few packages so this is pretty much it when uh we come to equipment and let me

tell you it looks small and a lot of small things but it ends up being super heavy to carry and I'm carrying it in this backpack it's a bulky backpack but it can hold it all do have this tripod this camera a little bit of a mic to include as well as the lens that I'm going to pick up tomorrow at photo care so yeah everything needs to fit in it on top of my computer my hard drive and my computer Chargers and then I'll see if the rest can fit in a small carry-on suitcase this bite boy ends up bei

ng super heavy let's pack it up before we go on a walk and uh because Harrison needs a bath I'm going to brush him to make sure that I can get as much hair as I can out of his body which is not easy because when I brush him looks like just a big puppy is coming out of him I don't know if I'm wearing the right colors for this I'm probably going to be covered in his hair it needs to be brush and then I'll trim his coat a little bit I want to trim what I like to call a skirt and between the in the

paws as well so since he's very mellow we're going to do this and tonight I can give him a proper bath because nobody likes a stinky guess so I want to make sure that he smells good for the host and the hostesses let's brush Mr Harrison [Music] don't around all my questions feel you slipping from my hands got me falling to pieces can't you say something easy night it's a big room on the days you don't come to make plans I could see through doesn't matter cuz I know [Music] you [Music] I could ke

ep brushing him and it would never stop I feel like you look at him and you're just you don't understand how that much hair came out and he still looks like this he has gorgeous hair but yeah definitely sheds now I'm going to trim it a bit around the PS and then I will cut the little dress here never said that I'm sorry never needed apologies give me one step away leave your keys in the gate D the beach roads all night get a least on right never thought it'd be a cold cell doesn't matter cuz I k

now you now Harrison is a little bit like hiding because he knows exactly that it is bath time I am wearing shorts because I literally have to go in the bathtub with him and I usually get wet and then while it dry I'll put everything in the washing machine so then it's done [Music] leave me guessing where's the best now I see the way you are on to me wait to catch the Light When you take SC dark I wonder how to be [Music] to good morning we are 24 hours before the trip and I am about to run arou

nd like a chicken with a head I completely crashed last night I really had to lay down I was not feeling good I ended up spending some time on the computer getting files ready for next week just testing some materials last night and make sure everything was working I charge all my batteries so this is actually really good Head Start make sure all my SD cards are emptied out and I have to back up my drive just to make sure that there's enough space on it this morning I got some coffee and then I

got working on the pants because this was the last thing I wanted to do I the jeans were fine you know because they are kind of a relaxed cut and I don't want them to be too short I still want them to look a little bit baggy and so I don't have anything to do when it comes to the Hem I just make sure that the Hem was as even as possible so these were the hazy part now the hard part is definitely the dressy pants they have to be a little bit more relaxed but still look good and I was doing some t

esting this morning I think I got the hand of it I'm not sure it's going to be as invisible hem as I want to obtain because I've never done it before so I've been watching YouTube tutorial but also I know that I have a stress of you know packing for today and right now I'm going to take Harrison then we're going to head downtown pick up the lens and then I will come straight back here and start packing for me and start packing for Harrison before finishing up the pants which I'm I'm not sure I'm

going to put the camera on because it's a lot of pressure so let's go [Music] downtown call me look in your way sad you didn't I like your face I know the last time we didn't have much to say it's cuz I like you then I'm with that way I'm getting dizzy and nervous it's not too L to come this Ain a drunken rot but a meaning we just came back we literally in an hour 20 minutes go downtown pass Union Square at the market and then go to photo care see Tony absolutely see Tony if you go to photo car

e honestly I haven't seen the guy in 2 years and he knew exactly who I was and Harrison even got this little treat from him we picked up the bag so I have an extra lens and took the subway back I'm going to grab some lunch and then we'll go pack but this is what I got I just have a lens that I'm going to try on this camera to make sure it's working and then had it to the equipment backpack I could crash right now which is why I'm having an afternoon coffee it's 2:25 I started laying out a little

bit of my things that I'm going to need I'm hopeful everything's going to fit in my carry-on bag although watch me saying this and then as soon as I'm at the airport they're going to do that usual call we're looking for volunteer to check on their carry-on bag because we need more space on the plane guess who's going to be the unv volunteered volunteered let's hope that this time it's not going to happen and I can take it on the plane but first we need to make it fit I need to take the suitcase

s out of a closet and we're going to start packing [Music] I think everything fits I even put my steamer I found a stuff that I forgot about in my sermer cloves all I have to add is my beauty products but I'm going to wait for tomorrow morning obviously and then I need to put the shoes and the underwear but over than that I took two bathing suits let's be hopeful that I get to go take a dip in the ocean I would love that maybe more than once and then for traveling I already put my outfits over t

here I'm just going to wear leggings and sweaters because I do like to have a hood especially if I get stuck on the middle seat but yeah everything is ready for tomorrow so I only have to pack Mr Harrison's stuff his food his meds his bed his toys and I still need to go on the computer and do some stuff [Music] everything is packed I packed Harrison stuff my things are packed I checked in online and guess what guys I was planning on editing the video on the plane but of course I got the middle s

eats so let's see how I do editing a vlog of my face with people on each side of me 3-hour plane ride to Miami now that we are all packed we're just going to relax and enjoy each other and I'll last moment together for the week he knows something is happening like he's been looking at the suitcases it's been extra glue to me he definitely knows I don't think he can tell that he's not coming with me but you know it is what it is and I know he's going to be okay but thank you so much for watching
