scended on Hollywood for the Oscars take a look again at that video news Chopper 4 capturing the moments as protesters qua cause quite the scene taking a look at the rows of black SUVs and limos going back blocks brought to a standstill by the protesters now these demonstrations began at about 10:30 this morning at the intersection of Sunset and Highland protesters said they were looking to call attention to what they call Hollywood supportive Israeli actions against Palestinians in Gaza the pro
tests were co-sponsored by a coalition including the US Palestinian Community Network Central CSO National Alliance against racist and political repression black lives matter La the free Democratic Palestine movement and the international league of people struggle organizers said their goal was to disrupt the Academy Awards they certainly did that at least starting it late the LAPD said they issued a dispersal order for unlawful assembly and we should mention there was also a separate March at a
round 2:00 in the same area that one was sponsored by the Jewish voice for peace and so that's something that's ongoing right now and we're just continuing to monitor situation we did check in with police to see if there were any arrests they have not announced any at this point
