morning great music and great fun to be had sit  back relax and enjoy the content like comment and subscribe to keep me coming back let's get  it hello everybody welcome to or welcome back to the channel whichever pertains to you i'm pat  d and hopefully i'm gonna have some fun today so i do have to say before i start this video that this endeavor or adventure whatever you  want to call it that i've started with this youtube channel has been  nothing short of surprising i i didn't think it would
be doing as well as it is  and to the point where i have people from other countries that are watching me and subscribe  to me and that kind of stuff and that just it doesn't seem real if that makes any sense  it's it's amazing it is like to the point where my husband tells me i have fans and it just sounds  really weird but again hopefully i'll get used to this one day so i had another request from someone  named bad motor finger and i don't know it's male or female i don't know how that works
but they  requested that i or they suggested that i listen to dirty loops and corey wong thriller and i've  never heard of either one of these two the group or cory don't know what i'm getting myself into  all i know is that i love the song thriller and this is what bad motor fingers suggested so let's  get into this and see what i'm getting myself into not what i was expecting they basically it almost  sounds like the funk version of thriller which is awesome and the fact that they have horns
in  there is great if you watched my last video with uh teddy swims doing georgia on my mind having the surprise of horns in a song absolutely  amazing i love the sound that they produce and dude's voice is good it's not michael  jackson but it's not far off from it is foreign you hit the doors so dirty lubes are all smiling and laughing having  a good time and that i don't know if it's going to go back to it it didn't um i think cory just  doing stank face while he's playing the guitar but they
all look like they're having a blast they do  that's again that's another thing i like is when people act full on instruments and that's what  they're doing and they're having a blast doing it you're out of time lane there's no escaping the jaws of the egg is oh why did he do that to that  poor drum set that was nice hey okay i do have to admit i like the fact that they  didn't try to replay replicate vincent price's lines in that because i don't believe there's a  person alive that would make
that sound as good as vincent did so i'm glad they didn't try to do that  they just let the horns do their thing which was beautiful that sounded amazing but i'm very glad  they didn't try to take away from vincent price that was good i liked that i did that was  different than what i was expecting it was because it's it's hard to do something new  with thriller and it sound okay but that that did i i loved the way that sounded especially  bringing in the horns and all that good stuff well bad m
otor finger i appreciate it thank you  i'll have to look into some of the original stuff to see how much i actually like them because when  people cover stuff you really don't get a feel for who they are you get a feel for what they can do  and what they can do is amazing it is but i need to look into some of their original stuff to see  how much i'll actually like them and if they'll make it up the playlist so again this was who  was this dirty loops and corey wong with thriller if y'all enjoye
d the content like comment  subscribe if not i'll see you around the bend somewhere y'all have a great day and  remember be the person that makes you happy bye

@sparkywrose

Welcome to Dirty Loops. If you love music and musicianship, your life will never be the same! Enjoy. Great reaction video, keep it up! And one of the most common refrains you hear in DL reaction videos is how much fun they're having.....it's palpable.

@stefanandersson2402

When it comes to Dirty Loops I recommend that you check out the credits. They are filled with fun stuff.

@bjornbear6856

Great reaction! DL is amazing and to do songs with Cory Wong just takes the song to a new level. The interesting thing about theese videos with DL and Cory Wong is the way they were shot. The left side of the screen with Cory and the gang is shot in the USA. The right side, the DL side is shot in Stockholm, Sweden. They never met...

@fiddlestix3025

“Next to You” by Dirty Loops! Also great: “Rock You”, “Work Shit Out”, and all the other tracks from their Cory Wong collab album ‘Turbo’. As is everything else they’ve ever done! ☺️ Thanks for this reaction, bro 👍

@badm0t0rf1nger

Glad you liked it. Check out the original "Follow the Light" from the same collab album- it's tremendous! So much technical virtuosity from all the players, yet a solid pop song everyone can enjoy too, rather than being a technical wonder that only other top-tier musicians really appreciate- that's a properly tricky balance to pull off! Also, Dirty Loops on their own, very much being Dirty Loops, is summed up best imho by their original "Work Sh1t Out". It starts with a literal dirty loop.... but what they fashion out of that beginning is jaw-dropping. ;)

@ExclusivelyReclusive1

Best Thriller cover i've ever heard, nothing comes close. Dirty Loops management is Quincy Jones btw

@Aurora-cv5to

I'm not a musician, not technical and I have adored Dirty Loops from first listen. What my ears knew instantly was that they are INTERESTING, with rhythms and melodic lines I totally don't expect - yet are gorgeous. Don't miss the side project between Henrick and Aaron, Songs for Lovers. Absolute gems. My ears crave hearing them every day.

@jarreddunlap7065

Good reaction there... Dirty Loops is a hole you'll go down and absolutely fall in love with. From their own music to their covers on the album Loopified. Cory Wong has many side projects you should check out too. He's most famous for Vulfpeck, The Fearless Fliers, and Cory Wong and the Wong Notes. Hope you like their stuff man... You just found another subscriber.

@robote7679

Nice reaction. I liked the tone of things and your presentation was really nice. As a Loops fan there are few little pleasures we enjoy more than being along for somebodies first listen. Dirty Loops (DL) are a wildly talented trio from Sweden-the three on the right. One cool thing is Cory and the horns-stage left-and DL had never actually met in person when they recorded this. DL recorded in Stockholm, Sweden and Cory and crew were in Minneapolis, MN. That still blows my mind. Loops fans just love the band and I'm guessing you'll hear from a bunch of us. Loops first came to wide recognition about 10 years ago by posting really unique cover songs on YT. These have received millions of views and lead up to their most current stuff of which "Thriller" is one. A couple originals I'd suggest are: "World On Fire", "Rock You", "Next to You" and "Into the Light". As you noted their energy is fantastic and they infuse all their music with it. Making for an always positive experience. Welcome to as its popularly referred to the Dirty Loops Rabbit Hole. You've earned my sub.

@nightHawk66

And... Dirty Loops is signed and managed by Quincy Jones!

@stevestone07

Bet Christmas day is fun in this guys house! :)

@badm0t0rf1nger

Oh, another great with-horn-section one just popped into my head: Scary Pockets (Jack Conte, founder of Patreon's band- he's the shockingly happy bearded dude on the Rhodes) with the excellent Steve Swatkins guesting, along with a top-notch arrangement from one of Europe's finest big bands, doing a cover of Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" last year, just before DP announced their retirement. What Swatkins manages to pull off on that Prophet6 thru his talk box is #Transcendent :)

@brendagrothier967

They remind me a bit of Blood Sweat and Tears....lite.

@lavenderbluemama953

Subscribing, because I'd like to hear your reactions to their other masterpieces. Others have given great suggestions to continue on the Dirty Loops pathway. Join us, it's an amazing musical ride that you never want to leave. Onward!

@ingmarkronfeldt6174

You should perhaps check out some other DL stuff first, then Work shit out, that is my suggestion. Follow the light is great. (Rings of Saturn are etherial, feels very Cory Wong, but really nice). You can certainly go with Turbo and Hästråtta. Many like Next to you very much. But you can also go back to the old covers from ten years ago to hear where the started out, that way you can get a feel for how they have evolved. Don't miss out on the stuff on Songs for lovers. Mostly "just" Henrik and Aron, Jonah (vocals and keyboard) is only there when Coffee break is over. Guess he normally takes a Coffee break (a joyful solo thing by Jonah). Oh, and like someone says in the comments, do check out the credits; if nothing else they give you a sense of that Dirty Loops like(s?) to joke around a bit. I did hit subscribe, hoping for more nice DL reactions! Sorry for the long comment, and for extending it with this sentence.

@kimeklund8880

Yes 👏 Look up Chris Kläfford Think u can like him 😊

@milesdust3465

Of course his voice is not like Michael Jackson's? Jonah Nilsson voice is unique from many standpoints. The range to start with. And he plays the piano, that he regards as his first instrument. Wackojacko was a product, nothing else. Luckily, we have evidence for that as well.
