well time is now 9:13 welcome back to go okay and you know it is the time for my favorite segment of the week the pet of the week segment and joining us today is Ken of Clark from Rescue Village thank you so much for joining us and you have brought Rosco with us or with you today and um Rosco you call him a senior dog yes Rosco is officially seven so that puts him into the senior dog category but he's uh he's an energetic spunky uh best friend looking for a home now how did rasco come to you all
so Rosco's um owners and both simultaneously ended up in the hospital and he was left at his house for about a day we went and did a welfare check figured out how to get some care for him with some neighbors and other things and then the owner ultimately decided he had to he had to surrender Rosco because he just couldn't take care of rasco anymore so yeah so rasco is looking at him self in the video screens and he's saying hey I'm looking at you out there don't you want to take me home take me
home now Rosco has been pretty quiet and very friendly he really came up to Holly and I and what type of family would will Rosco be good with Rosco is super friendly he is not super Barky at this is what we found he he has this really cute kind of wine that he does he's um he's really used to being around people he's this sweetheart he really is children okay and maybe I would imagine you know it's like you know family should come in if they're looking at adopting an animal like Rosco and see i
f everybody jives but yeah I love uh you told us before we started the show he said Rosco has a little extra padding so he may need a little bit of extracise he's he's Sleek so he can get out yeah get out and walk and and have a good time now how much would Rosco be what's that how much would Rosco be if they some want to adopt him oh our adoption rates for Senior Dogs I think it's like a hundred bucks or something like that it's you know we've vot down all the medical checks um we've taken care
of everything about his he's had some skin issues in the past and so those are getting better so there's there's a lot of we've invested in them and then when somebody adopts a dog from Rescue Village that adoption fee helps cover some of that medical care right and and other kinds of care and you guys said you have over a hundred animals or more than 100 animals up for adoption well we have about 140 animals in system at any given time cats dogs and some Barn Critters so they could check you o
ut if you want to get Rosco you want to get a cat you want to get a farm Critter as you said so Rosco one more one more can you take oh rasco's coming over here now Shadow's not going to be happy my little Shad though is going to be jealous but we going there you go look rasco you going to sit you're such a good boy so you can check oh you want some look how nice he is he will be a great addition to your family if people want to contact uh Rescue Village what's the best way to do so I say go to
