Props to BBC for not only having the greatest narrator but apparently also the most talented nature filmmakers. The quality is unbelievable.

@Max_m

Hard to imagine learning about nature without David’s iconic voice

@Kwaj

I can't tell you how disappointed I was as a kid when I found out roadrunners weren't blue, 6 feet tall, or fast enough to lift up the pavement when they ran.

@MrBoDiggety

One time, as a spoof, they should film the photographers getting these fantastic shots. David can narrate that too. They deserve recognition for the hard work they do.

Video: Shows a road runner hunting My brain: meep meep

@RJMay3

Roadrunners are your friend if like me, you live in the Sonoran desert. They hunt and eat rattlesnakes and wood scorpions. They patrol side and front yards in many portions of the plentiful HOAs near Phoenix. They're a shy bird that needs to be admired from a distance.

@CIBERXGAMING

so cool there's still little dinosaurs roaming around

@catherinehubbard1167

I grew up in Texas and roadrunners were a fairly common site but always a treat to watch. They can fly but strongly prefer to run, and they are good at it. Birds are, as he said, descendants of dinosaurs, but certain species make it easy to imagine those dinosaurian ancestors moving about their living world before the end-Cretaceous extinction. Cassowaries, with their size and killing claws, and roadrunners, with their effortless running pace, alert search for prey, graceful leaps, and that long, balancing tail.

The Roadrunner is such an amazing animal it's a true force of nature.

In a park across the river from Ozark Arkansas I watched a mother teaching her two young to hunt. She took one while the other stayed with dad in taller grass, watching. Mom caught a grasshopper and crushed it enough to make it easy to catch but still moving. Then they switched over to the other baby and repeat. Never witness anything like that.

@Dave....

Oh wow that 4 minutes and 20 seconds breezed by so fast. I was so entertained by the legend David Attenborough. I need at least an hour segment of this.

@3winanimal

The Roadrunner is a fascinating bird known for its incredible speed and agility. Watching it race against time is truly mesmerizing, and it serves as a reminder of the beauty and grace of the natural world.

@pedrord1986

@AngieJames4172

I live in SE Oklahoma, not the Desert, and we have Roadrunners. Love them :)

@julianaylor4351

Imagine if Sir David Attenborough narrated the Looney Tunes Roadrunner cartoons. 😁❤️

@rafaelsolorzano700

I always enjoyed your commentaries, and this video is a perfect example of your greatness.

@AsianFishe

Anybody notice how David Attenborough, the music and the environment make this seem like a game of hide and seek or a road trip when it’s actually a evolved velociraptor fighting for survival?

@michaeljames2869

Not only in deserts. Texas hill country, around DFW. We used to see them all the time.

@ayakotami3318

I've seen my fair share of Roadrunners here in Southern Texas. It's not a common site as they're so fast and hard to spot but always a privilege watching these beautiful birds run and forage for their food. 😊
